“Alright.” Giving a nod, the Vampire followed along after the other Turk. Once the door was unlocked, he opened it up and sat inside, closing it after him. Once they were on the road and a decent distance away from the building, he spoke back up. “So, what exactly did you want to ask?”

Humming a little as they reached the garage, he rested a hand on his hip and shifted his weight. “My car or yours?”

No, he certainly was not human. “…So you know? I will ask when I get a chance then.” Clearly he was a perceptive creature. The demon stepped around the other man and walked out of his office.

Moving, he made his way back out of the room. “It’s easy to spot those who can tell and are curious about it, I’ve gotten good at picking these kinds of things up over the years.” It was hard not to. Also it was kind of necessary in case the person was dangerous. Thankfully it seemed as though the hunting of his kind had gone down in the more recent decades.

Fun Vampire Fact; the reason that Vampires traditionally cannot see their reflections in a mirror is because mirrors used to be backed with a reflective layer of silver — which, as the metal of purity, would not ‘interact’ with Vampires, who are the Devil’s work.

However, modern mirrors have used aluminum as their reflective backing for many years now — and aluminum is not a ‘picky’ metal at all. So Vampires are able to see their reflections in modern mirrors.

All I can think about is a vampire used to not seeing their reflection in mirrors for centuries, and one day they are just walking along and unknowingly pass a mirror backed with aluminum and THEY NEARLY SHIT THEMSELVES.

And film was exposed using silver in the emulsion fluid for old photographs. But with more advanced photographic technology and things like digital cameras theres no need to use silver in the printing process.

I can imagine old vampires being super into selfies because they never got to keep pictures of themselves before.

It’s so nice, being able to lie back on his bed like this, just this moment of settling in alone is almost enough to make him sleep for hours but something is off, he can feel it. Tired as his body is he sits back up, joints and muscles protesting this action as Krory looks over to the door with a worn but true smile.

Well that didn’t work. Stepping inside the room, he tried to be nonchalant in his tone as he spoke. “I wasn’t hiding.” Ok, well. “Alright maybe a little.” He didn’t like lying to the other. Moving, he sat down on the ground next to bed and leaned back against the side. “Only this time I was trying not to disturb you.” He explained, loosely folding his arms over his chest.

A grunt left him as he landed on his backside. Snorting, he soon jumped back up and dusted himself off. “Not really. Never really pegged you for the lazy type.” Stretching a bit, he cracked his back with a satisfied noise. “Guess I will go bother someone else.”

The Innocence doesn’t seem to care much about the grip the other had on him. “I don’t know, to pass time when there’s nothing else to do?” Reading got boring after you ran out of material you were actually interested in.
