There are so many of these, "how to become a successful filmmaker' things out there it's getting a bit boring and predictable....."use what you have around you" "content over style" etc etc...I was just beginning to ignore them when this one came up. I love the Duplass movies and they genuinely seem to give good advice. The 'calvary' of success isn't coming to sweep you away just get on and make things (anything!) however shit, just do it to find your voice - and then find a famous person who likes the sound of it. Smart stuff.
