Filter Press Operation in Marble Wastewater
Automatic filter press is widely used in marble wastewater treatment plants. High solid content and high amount of wastewater needs huge and fast filtration process.
Steps of marble wastewater treatment plants with filter press is following;
1- Raw meterial is removed from wastewater before balance tank by the help of fine screens.
2- Wastewater and anionic polyelectrolyte are pumped to silindirical tank and mixed in it.
3- Solid content precipitate the tanks bottom and clear water is taken from the upper part of the silindirical tank.
4- Precipitated sludge part is taken to final mixing tank to homegenize the sludge.
5- By the help of high pressure sludge pump sludge is pumped to filter press.
