This is a screenshotted response to a post from me reminding minors who still engage in the fandom despite the age restrictions etc. to stay safe because they often are specifically targeted in adult themed fandoms, from several months ago. The person blocked me right afterwards so I couldn’t even reply.

As the TFC fandom gains more popularity, I really hope it doesn’t turn into another FNAF for certain kinds of people.

No sane person feels comfortable talking with minors about mature topics. (I’m obviously not talking about sex education etc as you all might know.)

No sane person wants to talk with minors about mature topics.

No sane person gets this emotionally defensive about a reminder of unsafe online spaces for minors. In the server back then I didn’t insult anyone, I mainly asked direct questions and said that this creates an unsafe space for minors etc.

Please stay safe kids. We are living in crazy times after all…

And no, I don’t care if people feel offended by my words. People need to speak up more often about these things. It’s about time.

💚To Minors in this fandom - Please Read 💚

(If you are reading this, you already ignored disclaimer of this game not being suited for you so im not going to pointlessly try to. I also have been a teen once ignoring age restrictions in media )

But i want to tell you something very important.

Even if you are consuming media not suited for minors, please, never ever join a group chat like a discord server about it and at best, do not look for online fandom friends

If you still insist on online friendships (which isn’t a good choice) never tell them that you are a minor, never talk about school or other hints to your real age. At best, tell them an age around 25 for example. But also do not talk about sexual topics etc with adult people not knowing you are a minor! (You wouldn’t want that either as an adult) Avoid these topics at all cost.

There are many adults on for example discord pretending to be teens searching for „friendships“ with minors in adult fandoms that slowly develop into horror. Organized crime targeting your age group is more connected and planned than ever before and through social engineering and manipulation techniques which are no joke and even smart adults often fall for, they can hurt or blackmail you in slow ways you don’t notice until it is too late and you don’t know what to do about it. Even if you educate yourself about some of the techniques that will not be enough to not be one of the most targeted groups on the internet and it‘s just the tip of the iceberg.

Ive seen enough sweet smart young people with severe trauma and I don’t want to see more. Please listen to my advice.
