Love this distressed look golden rug from @benuta The yellow/gold tones compliment the purple on the walls perfectly and really brightens up the room. This @lauraashleyuk mirror really brings everything together and compliments the fireplace perfectly. Originally the fireplace was boxed in with plasterboard but after years of wondering what was behind we were lucky to find it still intact. It was a lot of work but definitely worth it for this result. I'll share some "before" pictures soon too. Forgot to mention the grouting in this pic isn't quite finished in the tiling at the back of the fireplace which is what those dark lines are but it is now completed and I'll post a picture soon. Love these #ArtDeco tiles from @tile_giant in the fireplace. Great contrast to the white subway tiles from behind and the white brick. Looking to get a log burner to sit in the middle but a spikey plant (from @therangeuk will do for now. Lion is from @tkmaxx ✌
