Fin thumbnails

These are some of my favourite panels/ pages that I am looking forward to drawing later on.

I started on pages 42-43 yesterday, but I need to pick up speed!

Thumbnailing should be quick, right? But I find it super challenging to plan it out, just out of my head. But fun!

I started writing her story so many times now, just words - but never seem to get through it. So thumbnails this time, instead! I am sure all of the unfinished scripts have been necessary, though - I have a really good idea of the overall arc of the story.

I started working on a new character sheet for Fin, I need all the details and all of her belongings so I don't mess it up when I start drawing the comic for real!

Still working on thumbnails, but even that is getting complicated without a character reference sketch.

Her comic starts off with her going on a mission, I might have said - so she will be travelling!

She needs tools for making fire (no metal in her world - so I guess rocks and wood/plant material), her knotted net bag, her canoe, her sleeping bag/carpet... Cooking pots.

Already pictured is her spear and her talisman.

Up There!

My latest 2d-animation of my character Fin.

Still a WIP - no real shading and I would like to add some shine/spark to her eyes. And sound! Or speech bubbles. She is saying "Up There!"

I would like to keep working on this in a comp, maybe soon!

Now I will continue working on the thumbs for my comic, starring her!

I started sculpting Fin, quite a lot of fun! Still very much a sketch, but I want to do a fully clothed 3d model of her. Might print it, we will see!

Fin is sent on an errand, to collect herbs and other ingredients for a magic bonfire.

There will also be magic talismans, some concepts for these are shown in the bottom image!
