Kakizome, writing the first calligraphy of the New Year, with Kumano Calligraphy Brush of 1.8meters long.   The brush weighs 40kgs. when it is soaked with Indian Ink.  The word “寿無涯”（Kotobuki Kagiri Nashi）was written in the hope of eternal auspiciousness.
