Have you ever read a WinterIron fic, and then wanted to go back and re-read it, only you can't remember the title or author? Maybe you can only remember a certain quote, a unique detail, or one-of-a-kind situation. You've searched everywhere, but you just can't find it. We're here to help! Send us a message (please review our "how to" post for directions and exclusions) and we'll either find the fic for your or, if we can't, we'll post it to the page so our followers can help! Please note that we do not do fic recommendation lists, requests for downloaded copies of deleted fics, or searches for fics that are not Bucky/Tony as the primary couple, including poly ships and gen or friendship fics*. Bucky is the first hand up, they have immediate sex, then follows meetings with families, obv they fall in actual love, Tony gets preg before the marriage. Like, I can remember EVERY detail of this fic, but can't find it LOL

Bucky is the person he matched with, but neither of them realised who the other was until they met up one day and broke it off before getting back together. i'm almost 87% sure it was omegaverse since there was a plot point where Hope thought Bucky was making a move on Scott. can you find this fanfic on ao3? it should mention "dating profile" in the description but maybe not

i'm looking for a fic, I might be confusing fics or mixing them up, though I am unsure about that. I think I've read it a while ago, probably pre 2020, or at least pre 2022? Bucky, from a universe where he was dating Tony, wakes up in Tony's bed, in a universe where they aren't dating and Tony still sees him as a threat post CW. The Tony that Bucky was dating ends up in Wakanda, where this universe's Bucky is still in cryo. After a phone call to this universe's Tony (and some threatening words from other-tony, along the lines of "don't let anything happen to my bucky or it'll be worse than what howard did" or somehing), other-Bucky and that universe's Tony fly a quinjet towards wakanda, but get shot down by HYDRA and crash land into the ocean. Bucky pretends the trigger words still work and convinces HYDRA that Tony died, keeping him out of HYDRA's hands. I'm not quite sure about the rest, but I think it has a happy ending where the established relationship BuckyTony get back together and to their own universe, and I think "this" universe's Bucky and Tony at least get closer? I don't think it was "Far From Heaven" by ali_aliska, although the summary sounds similar.... I can't manage to find it on AO3 from tags/summary, so I might be confusing things here, please help me .....

Hi! I'm looking for a fic where Tony died and was a ghost, except only bucky could see him, and he was kind of tethered to him in some way. I think it had multiple chapters because later on Bucky was trying to work out how to convince Sam and Steve he wasn't going crazy. I think at the end Tony might have ended up a corporeal person again, but I'm not sure. Thanks!

ranuel asked: 420 might be They That Fade and Stay by 27dragons. Bucky and Steve move into an apartment haunted by Tony. Bucky and Tony fall in love and Tony does become corporeal at the end. It's set in an AU with Ghostbusters but isn't an actual crossover.

I also found a fic that might fit the bill, although neither of them are multiple chapters: Third Time's the Charm (If Time Allows) by Trashcanakin. This one is locked, so you'll need an ao3 account to read it.

I think he was being held somewhere and I remember Bucky and some others infiltrated this place (possibly an event or party??) and rescued him. It's possible I'm getting my wires crossed but I'm positive this is all one fic? I don't think Tony was actually ghost - Bucky just thought he was, or that he was hallucinating or something - and I don't remember any magic being involved. I have the impression Bucky was living alone and I think they visit a hardware store partway through and maybe stopped some guy with a gun while there. I mentioned Tony as a ghost because I think for a portion of the story, Bucky was convinced he was, but now I think I've just confused myself about that detail! The other details do still stand though

Hi, I'm after a fic that I read on AO3 a good while ago. Pre-iron man (or maybe never iron man at all), Stane hires the Winter Soldier from Hydra as a bodyguard/guide for Tony when he's on a trip to Russia(?), and he's uploaded with a personality called Levi (or something similar). They get on really well, Tony is attracted to Levi/WS, Levi/WS adores Tony's bots which Tony introduces him to, and there's an instance of Levi/WS watching them on a tablet via a camera Tony set up in his lab so the bots can see him while he's away. I'm pretty sure that after this trip, Tony tries to find Levi to ask him out, but doesn't have any luck. Some time later, the WS ends up getting hired as Tony's bodyguard/guide again for a trip somewhere around Germany, but the Hydra agents either didn't know or forgot that Tony had met him before, so they upload a different personality, some kind of professor called Hans?, who obvs doesn't know Tony. Tony gets suspicious, goes searching, finds Hydra, and rescues the WS. Pretty certain it also features Pepper and/or Rhodey. Thanks x

Hi looking for basically winter soldier gets split into two winter soldier and bucky barnes but bucky gets blipped but not winter soldier and he goes and lives with tony and they fall in love and he basically becomes his bodyguard and nebula also becomes a bodyguard and at the end they do the snap and tony doesnt die and winter soldier stay and bucky comes back and stay with rogers and im 90% postive when bucky comes back he isnt enchanced and doesnt want to fight anymore and i looked everywhere for it and cant find it it was on ao3 if any has it downloaded or knows where to find it help please

Hi - looking for an ABO fic where Tony and Bucky get magically transported to a desert island. They can't contact anybody, and spend YEARS there, eventually falling in love, bonding, there is MPREG When they are eventually found it turns out it was actually a pocket dimension, and the many years they spent there was a very short time back in real earth. ..... if you don't know this exact fact, I basically love ANY story where WinterIron somehow get stranded (in time, on another planet, in another universe, don't care) and end up a loving, smutty couple, so feel free to post other suggestions LOL
