Other than that, I think it was needed. He’s BROKEN. He’s tired DEPRESSED ANGRY and from the way he ran toward that gauntlet maybe even something more. He doesn’t care about himself, he’s having panic attacks, he’s given up

We finally got to see this god be truly human, become a subject to his emotions. Using humour to deal with his pain. Depression fucks with your head and I think they perfectly showed how terrible Thor feels. He even gets triggered! He’s drunk and just thanos name makes him cry instantly his entire stance changing. I get wanting what we had but I personally thought he was brilliant
