so when i saw the show i was front row at the far end of the oval, where the orchestra sits. i was right next to the stage entrance, which tbh might be technically one of the worst seats in the house just because there was a bar next to my eyes the whole time. however, it did have its perks: i had the closest view of actors leaving.

because of this, after ‘days and days’ after judy kuhn helen leaves middle allison just sitting there, about halfway out the door, when she could be letting up on the acting, you know what mother fucking judy kuhn did? she started crying. she legit scrunched up her face and started to tear up.

it’s gonna be a long ass time before i forget that.

hello! im curious as to what you think the differences are between sydney's and gabby's small alison? i know someone made a post about this already but im curious as to what you think!!!

Wow I have NO idea how old this is, sorry, but I can give a sorta answer here. I haven't seen Syd's live but I've seen Gabby twice. I think Gabby's Al is a little quieter, a little more reserved and contemplative and soft (her Ring of Keys especially is a lot more of a quiet and amazed realization rather than Syd's power ballad style) and Syd's is more outgoing, a little more confident, kind of playing it like a kid that's living an excited life punctuated by little realizations rather than Gabby's introspective take. They both have spunk and life but to me Gabby kind of aligns better with Beth and Emily's grown Als and I love her a lot.
