how am i supposed to deal with the fact that allison’s desperate journey to unshackle herself from kevin has ultimately led to allison deciding it’s worth it to stay with kevin if it means she can also stay with patty, the love of her life who was right in her orbit for 15 years but only became real to her once that desire to leave was activated, who she met first (at which point patty clearly fell in love @ first sight with her) and and then got pulled away from by kevin?!?!?!??!?! and then she LEFT ANYWAY because everyone told her she was hurting patty instead of the truth, that she’s the only one who makes patty happy and free?? how can my mere human heart be asked to endure all this?!?!?!

seeing the parallels between 2x07 and *that* scene in 1x08, I have to ask...

what did Allison think Patty meant when she said “I wouldn’t say no, not to you?” did her brain just shortcircuit over that part? I mean a lot of people think that Allison knows, and so maybe her tentativeness is due to the emotions on her part. Maybe there’s not a straightforward answer here
