It had been so long since Libby had heard the words escaping Finley’s mouth leave the boy’s body. He used to be generous like that. He used to care about what she wanted, and not just about himself. So since he was saying them now there was no way for Libby to control her smile as her cheeks flushed slightly as she leaned into him after he’d wrapped his arm around her, pulling her in closer. Because he was always seemingly angry it almost seemed as if Finley were constantly in a state of loud yelling, but tonight was different. His words were soft and calm and every syllable made Libby remember why she loved him in the first place. Even if Finley did everything in his power to make sure nobody knew he had a soft side, Libby knew it was down inside somewhere - otherwise she wouldn’t be in the position that she was presently. That soft side used to take her out on surprise dates, bring her favorite ice cream over and keep her company in all weekend when her parents left for weekend work trips, come over and let the dog out when she was stuck at school late because she had meetings for all of her student clubs. It had been a long time since Finley had done anything that didn’t directly benefit himself. Libby let out a soft giggle as she felt his lips press gently against her cheek, the sensation of him so close and teasing sending chills down her spine in the best way possible. “So then like, the entire movie?” She teased back, turning her head to meet his face directly with a small laugh as she leaned in and quickly touched her nose to his before pulled her head back slightly as he pressed a soft kiss to her mouth. Libby mused a sympathetic half-smile when he mentioned how he did not need Patrick taking care of him, and she brought her hand up to his shoulder as she faced into him a bit, rubbing his arm gently. “Well that’s why you have me. I’ll take care of you,” she commented sweetly, teasingly, and genuinely. Libby knew Finley to be spoiled - not by his parents but by his peers. Whenever he wanted something girls would be at his very beck and call and the guys did whatever they thought they could for him to stay good with him as to remain a part of the in-crowd. Libby didn’t want to take care of Finn because she felt she needed it, she wanted to take care of him because she loved him and because he was important to her and it mattered to her if he was okay. “Won’t be long,” she concluded, referencing the pizza.
The girl finally turned back in her seat, allowing her body to rest more comfortably into his, holding the hand he had draped over her shoulder with her own hand, interlocking her fingers with his. The movie began and the two sat comfortably for a while before Libby felt Finn’s mouth placing soft, almost ticklish kisses against her neck, causing the beauty to sigh softly as her eyes fluttered shut for a few moments while he delivered more kisses. Libby swallowed at his words, her eyes opening as she turned more into him, the room dark aside from the colors bouncing off of the television screen, her face just barely apart from his. “I’m sorry,” she apologized quietly for not having gone with him tonight even though he had never a) told her where he was going or doing and b) actually invited her along let alone talk to her at all since school had let out earlier that day. “Maybe I can go tomorrow night?” she suggested as an alternative. If Finley really wanted her around then he’d be happy for her to join him to whatever party was happening that Saturday night. Unable to notice in the dark, Libby swallowed just barely at his words. Sometimes it did make her just the slightest bit uncomfortable when Finley got a little possessive of her. At first it used to be cute, a little romantic, but then he grew to be angry and things changed if even just in the slightest. “So show me off tomorrow,” she suggested again, biting down a little on her lower lip as her eyes trailed from his down to his lip. Without thinking, Libby leaned forward and pressed her lips against his, kissing him slowly but passionately as loud cries for help played from the television She continued to kiss him for a while, leaning forward and moving her body weight from the sofa to the point where she was mostly just sitting in his lap as he held her, eventually the two falling back against the seat cushions of the sofa. On top of him now, Libby pulled away to sit up and rid herself of his sweatshirt, revealing her upper body clad in nothing but a lacey black bra. She leaned back in and placed another kiss to his mouth before breaking the kiss. “You’re the only one who can have me like this, Finn,” she smiled at him before leaning back in to continue making out, laying on top of him again as they kissed against the background music from the movie. Eventually Libby tried to guide Finn’s hands that were wandering her bare back up to the clasp of her bra, letting it fall onto him from beneath her as he unclasped it. Libby guided one of his hands over-top of her newly exposed chest, moaning softly into his mouth at the contact. Surely enough, the doorbell rang suddenly, sending sharp tones throughout the empty house, causing Libby to jump up nervously, arms naturally crossing quickly over her chest. “Shit,” she breathed out anxiously as she glanced around for her top. “That must be the pizza guy,” she stated, looking around. “Babe, can you please go get that? There’s money in my wallet - “ she started, still holding her chest as she motioned with her head to her wallet sitting atop of the counter separating the living room from the kitchen. “You can just take however much,” she finished. She wouldn’t usually dare ask him to get up and go do such a chore, but she was topless and her bra had fallen somewhere to the ground. A large part of Libby expected him to spit back with some offended expression about how she dare ask him to answer the door, but not this time. He was really changing. While Finley grabbed the door Libby grabbed a blanket sitting folded up at the end of the sofa, holding it up against her bare chest. The blonde paused the movie, laughing as Finley returned. “Timing is really never on our side, is it?” She laughed, holding the blanket up as she smiled up at her boyfriend.
