Kate: [shrugs] It's whatever. I just wanted to hang out for a while I guess.

Finn: Well, I'm glad you wanted to hang out with me.

[finn-reynolds]

Kate: I've been sick before. [she calls, holding back a laugh for only a minute before she can't fight it anymore] Stop, stop. Jump on or let it stop itself!

Finn: [laughs as he jumps on near her and grabs a pole to hold on, continuing to hold until the merry go round stops, he turns to her and grins] Thanks for dragging me out here. [he winks and laughs]

[finn-reynolds]

Kate: I'm always going to prefer not thinking. [shrugs, not looking him in the eye as she climbs onto the merry go round] Go fast. [climbs into the center of the merry go round and stands up, holding onto a bar just in case]

Finn: [chuckles and nods as he begins to push her faster and faster] You're going to be dizzy.

[finn-reynolds]

Kate: [nods] You're right. I can't decide how you feel. Just that it's maybe a little...unfounded, I guess. [looks at the playground] I don't know. Swings feel a little too cliche. You can push me on the merry go round if you want.

Finn: [sighs but then smiles] I suppose if you think it is. [nods his head and then follows her to the merry go round] The swings are good for thinking but the merry go round is good for not thinking. [begins to push her]

[finn-reynolds]

Kate: [shrugs] It's not like we hang out every day. You won't miss me too much.

Finn: I suppose. But, you can't say how much I'll miss you because you don't actually know. [he smiles at her as they approach the playground] No one is around so....want me to push you on the swings? Or are you feeling the merry go round?

[finn-reynolds]

Kate: Fine. I haven't been kicked out yet so I'll take it for the time being. Just gotta find a job so I can save up and go.

Finn: Always good. Well, you've got to do what's best for you. But I'll miss the company.

[finn-reynolds]

Kate: I meant it more as a phrase, but yeah. Will do.

Finn: Oh, duh. So...how is everything?

[finn-reynolds]

ip → finn

Kate: Okay. Lead the way and I'll follow.

Finn: How about you just walk beside me? It isn't far.

[finn-reynolds]

ip → finn

Kate: That depends on where you want to go.

Finn: Okay. There's a little park down the street I used to go with my sisters to when I was little. We can go there.

[finn-reynolds]

Kate: Hi. [licks her lips] I want you to take me somewhere.

Finn: Yeah. Sure. Should I go and grab my keys? Or do you want to walk?

[finn-reynolds]

Kate: Hi. [licks her lips] I want you to take me somewhere.

Finn: Yeah. Sure. Should I go and grab my keys? Or do you want to walk?

Kate: [gets off the bus a block away from where Finn told her he lived, hesitating as she nears his home. Forcing herself forward, she texts him to come outside and crosses her arms over her chest defensively]

Finn: [grabs his phone off his bed and takes a look. He heads straight outside as soon as he sees it] Uh...hey, Kate. What's going on?

[finn-reynolds]

kate: okay cool. beach? it's cold but still pretty

finn: sounds fine to me.

kate: is it weird for me to ask if you'll come hang out tonight?

finn: no. you know i'm always down.

finn: anyways, i just wanted to check in, let you know i do miss seeing you around

finn: have a good night, kate
