Someone mentioned the possibility of these two working together, and while they have their differences, and their dynamics clash especially after the events of RE6, I found one thing that could bind them together in the newest installment, especially if encountering a certain new character.

Okay I know that Resident Evil 6 isn’t a very good game and also isn’t really scary at all, but fuck man, chapter 4 of Ada’s campaign would actually be such good horror fodder with the right writing

Like imagine finding out that not only is there a megalomaniac impersonating you to a T, but that the only reason she exists is because a guy you kinda gave the time of day to once became so obsessed with you that he literally took another woman and forcibly transformed her into a cheap imitation of you

And then you’re left staring at your own dead body and feeling compassion and pity because Jesus Christ is that fucked up, and you know that if all she’d wanted was revenge on that one guy, you would’ve done it with her

This is literally the stuff feminist horror is made of and it’s fucking wasted on this silly action game

Exactly! I was so disappointed by the implications that Ada's storyline gave, but nothing was done with them. A creep who couldn't get over you being so obsessed that he creates a clone of you by mutating another woman? It's horrifying stuff.

I liked finally having a game where the plot revolves around Ada, but there was so much missed potential. At least she got to destroy Carla's lab at the end to release that rage. Ada played it so cool but I liked to see that little crack in her composure because yeah, she really went through something terrifying.
