“Yeah... something like that,” he said. This ‘future’ she talked about had always been his present, so it seemed weird to refer to it like that.

“N-O buddy,” Finn spelled out. “I think I’d remember a blonde in red leather.”

“You’re the one who was standing underneath the mistletoe,” he reasoned with a smirk when he realized that she was blushing.

“How can anyone eat this stuff?” Morgana muttered to herself as she walked into the town’s diner. It smelled like grease and sweat which was a horrible combination. And the food looked disgusting. But she was hungry. Perhaps they also sold healthier and tastier looking options.
“Like this,” he said, grabbing a forkful of steak and shoved it in his mouth, grabbing some fries to stuff in there as well.

“Good. I expect you to.” Bonnie gave him a small smile before she made her way on to the ice. It was a tradition to go skating with Elena and Caroline every winter, back before things got hectic in their lives. She was by no means an expert, but she as able to take the ice and keep her balance. She decided to take a small loop around the rink before she saw her partner clinging to the wall. A chuckle escaped her lips as she skated up next to him. “Practice makes perfect. Want to hold my arm while you get the hang of it?”
“Alright, but you have to take it easy. Promise?” Finn insisted, holding onto Bonnie’s arm like she had offered. He tried his best not to make the grip too tight, but his fear caused him to grip it rather tightly, “Sorry. I’m just so nervous,” he admitted, his legs still wobbling beneath him.

“I feel the same way you do man,” Noel started as he crossed his arms. His back rested against a nearby wall as he watched the snow fall. It was continuous, it showed no signs of stopping, and of course Noel was beyond annoyed at the situation. “But there isn’t much we can do. Unless you have a snow blower.”
“I guess not,” Finn replied, unable to help but agree. “Is there literally nothing we could do to pass the time? Because I have a feeling if we start playing eye-spy or something it’ll all end up being about the snow.”

she’s lost in her own thoughts, still not quite settled in her lack of understanding about why and where she is. wintervale, for all intents and purposes, seems real. and that makes it all the more confusing. tilting her head, his words break her reverie and she fixes hazel hues upon his face. “mm ?? oh. yeah, sure.” it’s not particularly enthusiastic. she’s supposed to be enjoying the party. wrinkling her nose, she forces on a smile and takes a breath before trying again. “i am yes, are you ??” at his question, a brow quirks. “why don’t we make some now and i’ll let you know next year if they’ve stuck ??” davina says playfully, almost a genuine smile on her features.
Finn couldn’t help a chuckle, “Alright, I’ll humor you,” he said, unable to help but notice the shorter girl seemed a bit distracted despite her responses. “We’ll think of some resolutions, but like I said I’ve never been good at holding onto them. I’m sure you’ll do just fine though.”

“They are quite pointless really,” Susan pointed out. After years of training for battle, she was hardly surprised a young man speaking up beside her as someone else might have been, “And they pollute the air too. But they’re loud and fun to watch,” She gave him a look as she noticed his wink, “And they are beautiful, yes.”
“That’s what I don’t get -- polluting our air voluntarily? We really should cherish what we’ve got while we’ve got it. Who knows when this place will just... turn into a wasteland,” Finn sighed, his mind going to his memories of home.

“Are you excited for the New Year?” Finn asked, turning to the brunette beside him as everybody around them was already getting drunk and celebrating the festivities to come. “And I must ask, are you one of those people who believes in New Years resolutions? Because somehow I never managed to get them to stick.”

“What reason would I have to let you fall?” Bonnie questioned as she stood up, making sure her skates were on well enough. “Haven’t you ever heard of taking a leap of faith? You don’t have to trust me completely, but you do have to trust that I wont let you make a fool of yourself.” Her hands gripped the walls surrounding the rink as she put a foot on to the ice. “And if I do let you fall, then you can distrust me forever.”
“I’m going to hold you to all of that,” he said, waggling a finger at her before cracking half a smirk. Still nervous, he let himself step onto the ice. Finn’s legs were shaking, but he took her lead and grasped the rink’s wall for support, “I already hate this.”

“Read a book? Play a game on your cell phone? Whatever you feel like doing?” Noel shrugged his shoulders casually as he looked at the other male. “I highly doubt we’ll be in here a whole week. The snow just needs to slow down a little bit and I am sure that someone will come with a shovel or snowblower and get us out.” Though Noel was amused by his attempts to get out of the building. “I’ve look over this place for a shovel, but you’re more than welcome to look again.”
“It’s just such a waste of time,” he grumbled, walking back around to one of the chairs and sitting down. Finn folded his arms across his chest, letting out a frustrated sigh. He just wanted to get out of here.

When James was bored, he did not make the best decisions. Actually, they were all great, it was just that they not always worked out. He couldn’t help himself though. He missed Quidditch and since with all that snow he was able to make a Quaffle-size ball, he decided to use it somehow and threw it at the nearest passerby, grinning madly from ear to ear.

“What the fuck dude?” Finn chuckled as he realized who had thrown the snowball. Without another second’s thought, he kneeled down to scoop up some snow to retaliate. “Heads up, buddy,” he said once the ball of snow was already flying towards the other.
