Oh look, it’s my favorite word again. Alack. That ghost rave was on my birthday too, sir Finn, though I will admit your almost demise was rather funny. I don’t think you’re in the wrong though, with that ghost date, they should’ve been having it somewhere else, really. Does it mean a lot? It’s just common courtesy, you’re one of my favorite people, couldn’t have one of my favorite people dead now could I? Plus, that’s what friends do, Finn. And yes, well, I’ve finally forgiven you for that. I could’ve been holding the grudge all summer holiday and you wouldn’t have known.

Dear Princess Clarabel, saviour of the dragons,

Alack is a rather exceptional word, it's just so... well very alacky. I hope it made your birthday eventful, I think that the ghosts were particularly excited to see you there. You have many ghost fans, you know. My almost demise was surprisingly funny for me too, considering it was my demise but the Bloody Baron still makes me laugh for no particular reason. I should curb that nasty habit. And that ghost date was getting pretty intense, like honestly singing a ballad in the middle of a rave is a bad idea. It does mean a lot, you saved me from being another of the Bloody Baron's victims, though not such a bloody one. I did see him eyeing off an axe on the walls though, so it could've gone either way, bloody or unbloody. I should schedule in a time to save you from peril, as you are one of my favourite people, so next Thursday maybe? I'm glad that you've forgiven me for that, and hopefully you've forgiven me for threatening the dragons. I know they're endangered, just my knight self obviously doesn't have any respect for them. He should brush up on his dragon knowledge.

Remember when you went to that ghost rave with me and had your drink spiked with something that made you sound like a knight? Or was that a dream of mine? Am I confusing occasions? Anyways, I really hope your handwriting has gotten better or this will be a fun interaction, as how our owls are always, really.

Dear Princess Clarabel,

How could I possibly forget that extremely unique ghost rave which nearly resulted in a murder. Don't you remember that I nearly interrupted a ghost date, which apparently is rather rare and romantic, and I think it was the Bloody Baron who nearly strangled me. But you managed to coax him into not doing so, thanks by the way, it does mean a lot. Alack, I certainly remember when you revealed that you were a secret lost princess, mine sincerest apologies, I should beest using thy proper name, thy majesty.

"Zero, huh?" he murmured, a small smile tugging at his lips. Now, that was a cool name for a cat. "Cats are definitely temperamental, one minute they're playing with your homework and the next they're trying to digest it while attempting to bite off your finger," he babbled, desperately wanting to smack himself for rambling pathetically like some sort of complete idiot.
