“Guy gets lost, his car breaks down – that sort of cliché,” she rambled. Unfortunately Brinley lived too much in her movies sometimes and she let it help her understand real world situations. “Not important, whatever,” she waved the thought away, noticing that the remark had unexpectedly lingered with the other. When he continued to explain the situation, Brinley nodded, “Alright well take me to your car. I’ll have a look over the damage and see if there’s anything I can do.”
Finn simply blinked at the other, squinting slightly as he tried to make sense of her words, “Do you think I purposely came out here to kill you, horror movie style?” He couldn’t help but ask, because that was the only kind of cliche he could think of right now. “This way-” He gestured, walking down a short path and through a couple of trees before coming to where his car was parked, or rather broken down at the side of the road.
