Sorry for the slow posting this week, WE’VE BEEN IN WHITBY.
After making it such a pivotal setting for the start of The Holmwood Foundation Season One, we took a little trip across the moors to say hello to one of the best-known Dracula locations, and the fictional home of Maddie, Jeremy and Arthur, as well as the destroyed Lucy Westenra building.
We’ve visited the Abbey, walked through St Mary’s churchyard - previously explored by one Mina Murray - and walked many a walking tour (also highly recommend checking out the Hand of Glory in the Whitby Museum, if you like a bit of dark folklore and you’re not too squeamish.)
Oh, and there might have been an engagement as well.
Next stop tomorrow: The Yorkshire Moors! As we chart the route walked by Maddie, Jeremy, The Harkers, and a head in a bag.
Is there anything you would like to know or see? Let us know!
THE HOLMWOOD FOUNDATION MINISODE #2 - "1985" CAST AND CREW
With final audio checks underway and a tentative release date of early June, please have the official cast and crew announcements for "1985", our second Holmwood minisode!
With the Dracula time loop officially reset, have some updates from the Holmwood Tomodachi island, in which we have now introduced The Ghosts (not pictured: Renfield and Cam, who we added yesterday, and Dracula, who is banned from the island).
We updated Jeremy and Tim's office spaces to boost worker moral.
And Arthur Holmwood's room had a chill minimalist makeover to suit his chill minimalist vibe.
In a shocking twist, Mina and Jonathan got married.
And Jeremy attempted to cheer up Maddy, the only way he knows how.
Meanwhile, Tom celebrated his birthday, and Henri bonded over work with an unexpected best friend.
In honour of Dracula season returning - and the approach of Holmwood Season 1's one year anniversary - we present this brand new poster by the amazing artist Daruva!

"The average character in The Holmwood Foundation says fuck twice an episode" is actually a statistical error, Jeremy "Fucking" Larkin who says some variation of fuck 150 times over the course of the show is a statistical outlier adn should not have been counted
Hello I hope me leaving an ask isn't weird but I wanted to say that like. Now that we've (sorta not really) calmed down from the War Room 3 announcement, one of the many things we in the Gallifrey community were/are celebrating and getting exited about is that there are stories by both you and Georgia Cook in this box set. And I don't know if that had made its way back to you, so I figured I'd send you this ask in case it hadn't!
I'm really, really exited. Yippee!
Hey!
This is super lovely to hear thank you!
We are just fans like the rest of you, and been so privileged to get this opportunity to play in the Gallifrey world, so we wouldn’t be here without Gary and the rest of the writers who came before us who made such an incredible series.
For me, Gally was a life saver when I started listening to it 10 years ago to survive a terrible job and fell in love with Leela, Romana, Narvin, Brax and Ace ❤️
We (and the rest of the team) truly love War Room, and we love these characters so we hope everyone enjoys WR3.
As of Tuesday, we have officially wrapped the majority of our minisode recording. 1985 is now in post-production!
We're hoping to have it ready to release near the anniversary of The Holmwood Foundation S1 - probably sooner, but we'll know more once we hear back from our editor.
Exciting times! Thank you all so much for your patience. We can't wait to release this extra chapter in the world of Holmwood.
Gallifrey returns in June! Featuring my story "Propaganda" and my wonderful partner @fiotrethewey's story "Hope"
So very excited for this set! How long has it been? Too long!
More episode info HERE or below the cut:
Propaganda by Georgia Cook
With unrest brewing in Low Town, Rassilon demands the immediate location and destruction of a rogue broadcast mocking his name.
With Rasmus, the General and Cresta trapped in the Drylands, and riots bubbling on the streets, Ollistra attempts to steer a course to cement her rule over the War Room.
Resistance by Katharine Armitage
Eris is trying to hold a crumbling Resistance together; Ollistra is trying to tear it apart. Both have audacious plans to ensure the victory of their side and everyone else has to choose where their loyalties truly lie.
Hope by Fio Tretheway
Leela has a job to do, and she cannot do it alone, and so she enlists the most unlikely of allies for the task. Time is not on her side, and she must succeed, or else all of them are doomed.
Eye for an Eye by Matt Fitton
Cardinal Ollistra must serve the will of Rassilon and see the Resistance destroyed. But the Resistance is already falling apart.
With Leela and Rasmus missing, the General and Veklin are given a mission that neither relishes. Loyalties will be tested, and vengeance will be had.

It’s sort of funny to me how often I see larger audio creators get asked if they’re ok with basic fandom activities. I mean I get it, it can feel really daunting to post stuff about a series you really enjoy and then know there’s a 99% the CREATOR will see it. But diva I promise you, people like escaped or gba (probably) won’t like track you down and dox you for making listener designs or headcanons that deviate from canon or for making ocs or making almost any other form of fan content.
