𝜗𝜚 her heart belongs to the beach. but because it was her and abe’s favorite spot for dates, she couldn’t summon the courage to go back for many, many years after his departure — to many unwanted memories.
𝜗𝜚 can’t have caffeine because it makes her incredibly hyper. there have been a few … incidents where she set wayward furniture ablaze after having a cup of coffee. (— side note, i like to think her peculiarity can be uncontrolled whenever she’s at a high emotional state).
it was quite devestating when miss peregrine banned her from drinking coffee because she really does love the taste of it, but she eventually got over it. lemonade is her go to now.
𝜗𝜚 she’ll be self depreciating towards herself all the time, but the moment someone she loves talks down on themselves all hell breaks lose — emma will simply not stand for it.

𝜗𝜚 this may be controversial but emma is kinddd of a mean girl , lol … but not in the regina george sense. it’s more so that she means well but is veryyy blunt (on top of her snark). she will insult someone without meaning to and will have no idea unless confronted, to which she will immediately apologize.
has definitely done this to bronwyn which is why i think it took them quite long to become best friends; emma’s willingness to speak her mind no matter what and bronwyn’s sensitivity didn’t exactly pair well. same goes for some others, like fiona possibly.
𝜗𝜚 BUT it’s also part of the reason why her and hugh are #besties for the resties. they’re both angry assholes {/pos} who also happen to have a heart of gold.
𝜗𝜚 insecure about her beauty marks — she has a couple scattered across her face / body. abe never cared for them, bronwyn thinks they’re lovely and would tell her so always.
𝜗𝜚 LOVES cats, she thinks they’re absolutely precious. she had a little black and gray one prior to joining the loop, who she still calls her “first best friend”.
was one of the wards who begged miss peregrine for one, but unfortunately she’s allergic so the answer had always been no.
𝜗𝜚 big on words of affirmation !! whenever a birthday rolls around she fills her entire card front to back in paragraphs on why she loves that person.
𝜗𝜚 despite her beauty she’s quite an ugly crier … no shade, i think she’s adorable but uhh, yeah. 😭😭
𝜗𝜚 favorite hobbies include scrapbooking and photography. :) i like to think she’s kept many journals over the years, and there’s absolutely a couple pages dedicated to each of her friends, my sweet sentiment girl.
𝜗𝜚 GIRLS GIRL !!! loves her girl friends and will forever put them over their stinky lovers. whenever fiona has #boy problems with hugh, emma will glare at him for the entire day until he takes the hint and sets things right.
𝜗𝜚 fangirl for sure. not sure what movie stars / music artists were big in the 1930s - 1940s, but whoever they were she had posters of them strewn all over her bedroom walls.
𝜗𝜚 sometime after the series concluded, she burnt all of abe’s letters and finally moved on — she deserves that, i think.
thennn she finally found out she was bisexual.
𝜗𝜚 her and millard are THE duo. but because of their glaringly different personalities, they’re prone to fighting most often. millard will correct her on something minuscule and unintentionally damage her (admittedly big !) ego. she will yell back, he will respond evenly which only works her up more …. you see where i’m headed.
— ykw, as much as i hate to say it, he’s a phenomenal ragebaiter and emma happens to be his easiest victim.

they bond over their memories with abe, and in doing so get some closure from their complicated pasts with him.
