“What if we don’t get a happy ending?”
“Then maybe we should enjoy our happy-for-now.”
-Beach Read
How can I be what I’m supposed to be, without being everything I don’t want to be …
Everything has an expiry date. Eventually you won't feel it that strongly for anything as you felt for the first time.
You gotta keep going towards something new to feel for those beautiful first's.
i hate giving up on people , but I hate forcing shit even more
Too many thoughts for one brain, too many anxieties for one heart.
No good mornings, no good nights, nothing at all. So sorry. Not even sure if this is the right thing to do.
Damn it. It’s weird today. The sky is gloomy in the morning and i myself can’t really focus on anything
“In your life, you meet people. Some you never think about again. Some, you wonder what happened to them. There are some that you wonder if they ever think about you. And then there are some you wish you never had to think about again. But you do.”
— C.S.Lewis
“Some days are for falling in love with people; some days are for loving life and hanging out in cities; others are for quietly withdrawing from the world, and relishing the pleasure of your own company.”
— Unknown
“To get over the past you first have to accept that the past is over. No matter how many times you revisit it, analyze it, regret it, or sweat it… it’s over. It can hurt you no more.”
— Mandy Hale
“I’ve lived too long with pain. I won’t know who I am without it.”
— Orson Scott Card
Wishing you the courage to live your mysteries with an open heart ❤
This poem was inspired by two suggestions people sent me, "bottled up emotions" and "process to healing". I decided to write just one for both. I see it as a little story of redemption.
