hi!! i'm currently 16 (female) and it is my dream to become a firefighter however i'm not the fittest (i play sports and stuff and do exercise but i'm nowhere near fit enough to be a firefighter) and I was wondering if you, from experience, know some great (preferably at home) exercises that i could do daily or just tips in general about fitness and health :)
Hey, fitness is definitely important, I think one of the most important is your cardio. Carrying around all that gear, and tools can wear you out quick if you're not in shape. There is lots you can do at home, push-ups, squats, stomach exercises, all are important but also running or sprinting a little then walking are great ways to start out.
