Children growing up is for sure one of those bittersweet things when it comes to parenthood, but if you look on the bright side, you’ve still got a lot to look forward to. That song is gonna be stuck in my head now and I don’t know how I feel about that, but if you were able to turn back time, how far back would you go? Are you aiming to revisit her infant days or just a few months?

I know there’s still a lot, I just can’t believe it’s been five years already. Sorry about getting the song stuck in your head though, It’s been stuck in mine, because that’s really all I can think about. And I think I’d revisit all the big things, the milestones, just to see them one more time.

I’d must rather than Sophia for letting Grace teach her. She is so in love with living in all these different worlds. I should warn you that she’s apparently wanted to go all out for Soph’s birthday. She suggested we buy her a pony. 

For the love of god, if you buy her a pony, it’s living at your place, Rory. Please do not spoil her, she doesn’t need it, I’d much rather her learn the appreciation of people, not things. Despite all my best efforts, the thing she’s looking most forward to is presents.

Grace is very excited for this birthday. She said Sophia turning five makes her that much closer to her age. I tried to explain they were still the same age difference but she said, “No, daddy. Five is closer to seven than four,” which isn’t a lie. She also wanted to let you know that Harry Potter has a Time Turner but she doesn’t want you to have it so that Soph can grow up with her. I understand the pain though, man. 

Oh to be young and have such a black and white concept of facts. I love hearing whatever facts Grace comes up with or recites out, and again, send my thanks for teaching this little nugget to read. It’s great that the girls can grow up together, Sophia is more than excited to start school so she can be just like Grace.

I have 15 days left of having a four year old and I don’t even know how to swallow that pill. My ever growing baby is going to be five and there’s nothing I can do about it because apparently cranking If I Could Turn Back Time by Cher doesn’t actually turn back time. If anyone has a time pauser or a time machine, please tell me how much it is to rent it.

Quinn: I'm very lucky to consider you a friend, and Sophia is a very lucky little girl to have you for a father. No matter what you've been through, it's clear that she's number one in your life. We want to give that to our little one as well.

Quinn: After I came home, I talked with Hunter and Sebastian. Apparently they'd had a talk as well while I had been staying with you. This is what we decided is right for us. It's scary, unplanned, and maybe not something we ever expected, but it's ours. Like Hunter said, the three of us together can do anything.

Ryan: We're pretty lucky too. Sophia thinks nothing but high things of you and couldn't have been happier to have you stay with us. Plus, you were Zeus approved, nothing better than that.

Ryan: She will always be number one, and I know you'll do the same for your little peanut too. You already have his or her best interests in mind and that's all it will take.
