Hiatus

Okay guys, so it turns out, school is a thing, and it has happened to me. :P

Unfortunately I overestimated my ability to juggle school and FR, and so I will be taking the next two weeks to deal with my Finals, and then I’ll be getting back to eggs. Thank you to everyone who’s still waiting on eggs, I am ever appreciative of your patience. See you soon, with eggs in tow!

Reopening!

The shop is reopening. Yay!

I’ve tried to type a long post about it three times now! So let’s keep this short and sweet for the sake of my sanity. :D

Apologies: It took much longer than I originally thought it would for me to finish up those orders and reopen! Three months. WOW. That is SO LONG. ;u; So thank you everyone who stuck it out while I got my butt in gear. You are the real heroes.

Changes: I am limiting the number of apparel items on eggs to 3. No mas! These little guys are getting way too cluttered, it is ridiculous and not great. :P Additionally, I am limiting the number of dragons people can order to 3. No mas! Otherwise, we have a case of the Great Hiatus where ragnarokhound gets super overwhelmed, like wow. Three months guys. Too much.

Makin’ Some Changes

So I’ve come to realize that I’m much busier than I initially thought I’d be when I started the shop! Previously I allowed people to order as many dragons as they wanted at a time, and I was not using slots. More and more people have been ordering accents and apparel, so I think I need limit these things.

I’m going to start using slots, starting at five at a time, and then I’ll see if I can increase the slot cap after a while. You can only order three eggs at a time, and I’m thinking of limiting apparel too, to only three apparel items on one egg. Otherwise things are gonna get a little cluttered. >.<

Thanks to everyone who’s been waiting on me to respond to them, I’ll try to have your eggs done soon!

I'm open again! All standing orders have been filled and, *trumpet noises* all current genes have been completed! I can make pretty much any dragon now OuO

Thank you to everyone who was waiting for me to get things together while I was moving into my dorms. It’s been a tiring weekend, but now I can start to settle into a routine that includes my shop being open. Happy Starfall Celebration everybody!

Wow, moving people in is tough @.@ I am super tired after that day, but luckily it was the last day of moving people in! *noisemaker noises, wild fanfare, etc*

I’ve also been able to get some work done, amazingly enough. Spines is finished! Now on to Vipera/Hypnotic, and after that it’ll just be individual apparel and accents ;u; so close and yet so far

Still moving people in! And I’ve got all these new ‘social responsibilities’ to talk to people on my floor and go to events and things, leaving scant time for drawing these bad boys :P

Luckily, I’ve made a lot of headway on the two hardest genes, Crystal and Facet! Here’s a lil preview just in case people are actually reading this:

After this I’ve got Spines, Vipera/Hypnotic, and then the various apparel and accents people have requested! We’re getting there ;u; not at the turnover rate I wanted/had originally, but we are getting there! And once all the genes have been sponsored, things should speed up OuO

Woo, all moved in! Now comes to part where I figure out what I’ve forgotten and what I need to take back home @.@ And the fun doesn’t end there. I’m part of the volunteer group that moves people in, so I’ll be going to training meetings and moving people in all through Sunday - leaving me little time to work on orders ;n; I’ll do my best to get these done, but I might not be opening again until Monday, unfortunately.

In better news, I finally settled on a design for Crystal, which, lemme tell u, it was not cooperating with me at all yesterday and Tuesday. Everything I tried for Crystal was like ‘ha ha no that looks dumb wat r u even doing get out’ but I have high hopes for this new design. I hope everyone likes it as much as I’m starting to!

These were my skin submissions to the Rockbreaker Ceremony Skin Contest, Earthshaker Acolyte and Tumbra. These will be for sale in the Flight Rising Skin thread, but until I have the funds to buy my own blueprints, the blueprint required for submission will have to be provided by the customer.

The Earthshaker Acolyte Skin is going for 300 gems, while the Tumbra skin is going for 250 gems. Here is a link to the deviantART page where a larger version can be viewed:
