THE ABSOLUTE BEST AND FASTEST AND HEALTHIEST WAY TO LOSE WEIGHT (imho)
Intermittent fasting, also known as 16-8 fasting, 20-4 fasting, or One Meal a Day (OMAD). The gist of the 16-8 method is you keep all your eating within an 8-hour eating window, and then you only have water (or black coffee or green tea) the other 16 hours. It’s quite a bit easier than it sounds, and the body adapts quickly. It’s like having an early dinner, say, finishing your last bite before 4:00 PM and then having breakfast at 8:00 AM, or fasting from 5:00 PM to 9:00 AM. It does seem, though, that all the people I’ve researched like to start their window around lunchtime or even dinner, but I prefer my breakfast and coffee with creamer in it. To each their own. Whatever the eating window is, it’s very doable.
Now that I’ve explained it, there are so, so many benefits:
- None of the weight you lose will be muscle
- Unlike drastic calorie restriction, it won’t slow down your metabolism
- The fat loss especially targets your midsection
- It turns bad fat cells into fuel to burn
- Better hormone regulation
- Better on the body overall
- Same effect as the Keto diet but without restricting carbs (that is, unless you want to restrict carbs. That would just give you faster results)
I only just learned about it within the past month, and I lost the last bit of weight and finally achieved my goal weight extremely fast. If you’re trying to lose weight or even just tone up, all I ask is that you look up some information on it. My favorite is watching YouTube videos of people that this is their way of life. I’ve learned so much, and even people’s comments to these videos is very inspiring. Even after achieving my goal, I think this is now a lifestyle because of good effects on the body overall.
