Was Dolorem originally conceived as a character for the store, or was it a last-minute decision due to certain events?

dolorem was originally a scrapped elevator npc idea/design from like a year prior

when the stuff with pressure happened though we had to scramble to replace all the characters/assets from that game , and we ended up landing on making a shop floor based on a scrapped character

we were split between dolorem and the author , but we ended up going with dolorem

It's Lampert!!! I kinda headcanon them that whenever he's interpreted with a little string attached to his head, they twirl it around like hair when doing something else. A bit disappointed by it since the movement I did doesn't really look like a finger circleling around, but I also kinda like it because the mouvement of the string, idk :P
