We've been having some technical problems tonight, and we believe they've all been resolved.

The LHIT technical team would like to acknowledge an intermittent interruption to service that occurred this afternoon which caused some degradation of cloud infrastructure.

Date: 19/08/2013 Time: 3:40 PM - 1:10 AM Affected Services:   - VMware ESX in Sydney zone  - Backup servers in Sydney zone  - VPN in Sydney zone  - DNS in Sydney zone

Impact: Customers utilising the above services may have been unable to connect to their services during the during of the interruption. DNS requests are automatically migrated to our other redundant zones, however, self-hosted DNS systems are not.

Cause: A faulty router has caused packet loss coming into our network. Cisco engineers have resolved the issue.
