Buddha Eye Mantra Mandala Thangka Painting, Nepal

In the painting you can see that outer layer is the fire meaning that all your negative emotions such as hatred, anger will be burnt. And in the middle buddha eye is surrounded by prayer “Om Mani Padme Hum”.

Mantra here refers to the recitation of the essence words of the particular rituals of deities. “om mani padme hum” the six syllables, om mani pad me hum, mean that in dependence on the practice of a path which is an indivisible union of method and wisdom, you can transform your impure body, speech, and mind into the pure exalted body, speech, and mind of a Buddha.

The banner symbolizes the victory of Buddha’s teachings.

The golden fishes announce the release from suffering.

The shell-shaped bugle prevents evil from occurring.

The infinite knot symbolizes infinite love and a long life
