I bet Leia secretly blames Luke for what happened to Ben.
I mean think about it, Leia sends her son who is happy and wants to be good. Ben wants to be a jedi, he’s eager to learn and impress. She’s raised him his entire life and he never showed signs of turning to the dark side.
Then one day Luke insists that he takes Ben away somewhere else to train him (I feel like Leia would’ve suggested that they train at home). So Luke takes her son away and next thing she knows, her son, her good son has murdered people and has turned to the dark side.
Luke runs aways and doesn’t even have to guts to face Leia and Han. Even though she knows it’s not Luke’s fault, I can’t help but feel that Leia would secretly resent him for it.

I don’t think they give non-force sensitives lightsabers, but I also don’t think they’ve established Leia as force sensitive or not, so who knows
