hi everyone, so excited to be here! you can refer to me as J (she/her) and this is my very first time in a skeleton roleplay and it's been a loooong time since i've roleplayed on tumblr at all but thrilled to be back. i've brought moon soeun who is the girlfriend skeleton. tldr: 27 year old recent university graduate (linguistics) who is navigating the grief of her recently passed partner by keeping her life way too busy to even consider her emotions taking over. i prefer to spontaneously develop my character and the relationships around her through interactions but please like this post so we can hopefully get the basics down and hopefully we can cook something amazing! more about soeun under the cut .ೀÂ

moon soeun / 12-02-1971 (27) /Â aspiring speech therapist
soeun comes from a wealthy and politically connected family with her father serving as vice chairman of the national assembly’s judiciary committee and her mother a retired lawyer who now focuses on parentage.
her family background made it difficult for her to form genuine connections, especially at university where many kept their distance. rumours floated around that her spot in SNU was due to her fathers influential role in the government.
soeun never bothered to deny these assumptions and largely kept to herself— letting her hard work speak for her. those few who know her well would testify that she is humble and grounded, despite being sickly spoiled growing up.
re:haneul
soeun met haneul in her second year at SNU after being dragged to an end-of-semester party by a close friend. as always she kept to herself, ignoring the stares and whispers. until she misplaced her handbag after one too many drinks and it just so happened that haneul was the one who returned it. his charm and unwavering integrity had soeun falling hard and fast, quietly naming him her first love.
haneul played it cool at first, which only drew her in further. she pursued him for two months before finally confessing through an awkward meeting stood outside his apartment, mixtape in hand (as cliche as they come).
while it initially seemed that soeun loved more, haneul’s feelings deepened once they began dating. his early caution may have stemmed from her family background or a reluctancy to commit.
soeun outwardly supported haneul’s thrill-seeking lifestyle, though privately she resented how recklessly he treated his life and buried those feelings for the sake of their relationship.
her parents didn’t outwardly approve nor disapprove of haneul, they merely judged their bond, “short-lived college fling", nothing more nothing less.Â
after haneul’s death she withdrew, pouring herself into finishing her degree despite concern and criticism from those who felt she wasn’t grieving “enough.” she graduated without deferring.Â
her parents offered little sympathy, both infuriating and humiliating soeun— every corner of seoul reminded her of him, so she packed her bags and fled to daegu where she found an internship at the daegu university speech rehabilitation clinic; far from the clutch of her parents and the lingering ghosts of haneul.Â
soeuns secret is that she secretly took haneul's camera to delete certain pictures from it, Â
the letter forced soeun to face what she had been running from and she agreed to attend without much hesitation, even considering it a much deserved vacation.Â
personality
soeun is largely introverted, rarely stepping out of her comfort zone. haneul had her taking risks and making discoveries about herself that were unknown prior. he was a natural charmer with people always orbiting him, the complete opposite of soeun’s solitary presence. his undeniable influence on her saw her become more cordial and affectionate over time and forced her to widen her perspective and social circle.

given soeun's questionable approach to haneul's death, this could have soured certain people's perception of her (especially his immediate family)Â
