I guess just a couple comments while I procrastinate??
Been back in the manga world recently and:
pretty pleased with the ending of Kimi ni Todoke, though I could’ve skipped the whole career choice drama. really glad Ayane’s ending was handled well. Chizu, less so. and I don’t believe for a minute Kazehaya and Sawako had sex when they did lol.
on the other hand, really displeased with the ending of Hirunaka no Ryuusei except that it was Mazume. Shishio really got shafted and turned into a pathetic creep, sorry folks. also the story lost all story and Suzume lost all personality except Mamura vs. Shishio.
what Horimiya could’ve been...
briefly obsessed with Tsurezure Children, and I love it, especially Sugawara/Chizuru.
disappointed that Aozora Yell and & were dropped.
in other news:
honestly shook and saddened by Miura Haruma’s death. rip.
also Johnny finally went and died huh. the mass exodus is kinda crazy but sort of makes sense.
also, too many JA artists continue to be sketchy creeps (esp Tegoshi), and I’m ashamed I didn’t think much of it before.
sorry, Arashi has a Netflix documentary??????
I’m v excited for Tamaki Hiroshi as Immortal Tatsu! although Tsuda Kenjiro would’ve been great too. but why is Kawaguchi Haruna playing Miku when she is baby...
