#my grandma turned 102 recently and one of my neighbours is also 102 #my grandma is in good physical health and doesn't even need reading glasses #but she has a memory disorder and recently had to move to a care facility #she still reads the newspaper every day and is quite bright #but long deceased relatives are alive in her reality and she doesn't remember who visited her yesterday #she had surgery for trigeminal neuralgia in the past and doctors think that may have contibuted to her dementia symptoms #but she still appears content with her life at 102 so i don't think it's a huge tragedy at this point

#yes but this is actually shichigahama and not sendai 🙂‍↕️#it's not my favourite beach in miyagi of even in shichigahama but it's one of the oldest ones #all beaches were closed in 2011 and remained closed for quite some time but now most have been restored and reopened

yes, I remember all their names

I could name most of them but there are few I can’t remember

if you put all of them in a room I could put a name to at least half the faces

i’m not confident I could name a quarter of them, let alone half

I can’t remember more than one or two names

I’ve never kissed a soul and want to see the results

#after four days of intense pain the flare finally seems to be calming down 👍#i'm so exhausted i'm gonna sleep for 12 hours minimum #but why do I have a sore throat all of a sudden this wasn't in the script:(#anyway good night i never want to experience another pain episode like this but I definitely will
