i’ve seen the movie :D

and can i say that despite the fact i’m not incredibly pleased with the very huge SHIFT in hux’s characterization, i can wrap my head around it if i add to it that he probably hasn’t slept in five days, he’s overstressed, he’s a big bad, but there’s a small fear there when it comes to snoke and kylo because they can choke him with their minds ( doesn’t mean he’ll stop snarking, but it does shut him up for a moment ).

you know what i liked to see despite it all?

hux has the command of his army. a mutinerie wouldn’t surprise me ( even though manipulating from the shadows also is something to consider. it’s power while protected ) and even though the entire group obeyed kylo when he gave an order, when hux ordered them to stop: they stopped.

it is hux’s army. it was his before kylo became supreme leader. and i’m glad they kept that in.

When you think about the fact that Hux preens from Snoke’s praise not very long after Snoke threw him around on his own bridge it’s kinda…fucked how Hux will go through being treated like shit & then still feel happy & satisfied when he’s praised by the same person who just hurt him

you know the only thing i’m sad about having been there for so long, doing a clean up but roleplaying hux more outside of tumblr. is that i don’t get to keep the relationships he had before tlj came out. so most future threads are gonna start during tlj? and it’s gonna lack the slow build it could’ve had in the two years prior? iiii’m not sure i make sense but it’s 3am xD
