Distractions and Detours
At this moment in time, Iva began facing one of the most classic battles of all time: mind versus feeling. Although hesitant to admit such a fact, she adored the feeling of the man’s touch in general. Granted, the lieutenant was not one to consciously think about such intimate situations; however, now that she’s encountered this certain, special intimacy, she feared that she would crave it much too often. She was well aware that the two were incredibly passionate, which made her wonder if such passion could harm or assist their relationship. They were proceeding through things at a proper rate, weren’t they? Nevertheless, Iva feared the man becoming a weakness of hers- something that he had pointed out earlier. The feelings the voluptuous woman encompassed were terribly complicated.
Despite her terribly webbed thought process, she carried on with sliding her lips with her partner’s. She noted slender arms slightly tightening her grip; why did all of her actions seem purely reflexive all of a sudden? There was absolutely no thinking or planning involved here- merely compulsory actions. She couldn’t help but wonder if she had been waiting for a tender moment such as this since the two’s first leisurely evening with one another. However, although the lieutenant was no expert on such topics, she knew that this longing surpassed the shallowness of lust by miles, making her wonder what category it fell under exactly.
She did know that the feeling of her lips on the captain’s felt incredibly, well, special. Physically, it caused a rise in her warmth and a rapid pounding of the heart.
Alas, the thought crossed her mind that she may have been causing the golden eyed man to feel slightly trapped by her grip. Soft lips remained locked with one another as her grip loosened, seeing if the captain would pull away. Needless to say, neither of them left the other’s contact.
Iva’s warmed lips drew back slightly, creating a longer pause between contact. Eyelids opened slightly and a very minute yet teasing smile intact, the female decided to test him, seeing whether or not he would end their tender touches or pull her back in for more.
actslikeaguy came aboard your ship!
Upon seeing the other, Tsukitachi felt a bizarre air. There was something particular about the female he saw in front of him. From his reports, she was one of the top of her class, and had been invited to tour the first ship (though he didn't remember signing off on that event at all (little did he know, Hirato did it in his stead)).
"Welcome, welcome!" He greeted the student, bowing and offering a hand. "My name is Tsukitachi, and I am the captain of the first ship! Pleasure to make your acquaintance, miss. And you would be..?"
Truly, he was clueless about some things.
Send me: "I command you."
The first to do it: will get my character to cook yours a dinner.
The second: will get my character dressed up in anything your character suggest and will do one thing they want dressed that way.
The third: will get my character to plan a fun and interesting day especially to please yours and my character will make you a dessert at the end.
The forth: will get my character clean the house of your character and do whatever housework they can come up with.
The fifth: will get the same as number four and my character dressed in whatever your character wants.
The sixth: will get any favour they can come up with from my character right away or in future regarding any topic and my character can't say no.
karnevaltsukitachi came aboard your ship! first-red came aboard your ship!
It was a bizarre experience, in the very least. And of course, the man didn't know how to react initially. How does one react in said situation? To see your own doppelganger right in front of your face was a thing that could cause some to faint! While Tsukitachi didn't do that, he certainly was in shock. In fact, he was speechless--one of the few times he couldn't say anything.
beautifulacrobat-tsukumo came aboard your ship!
On his device, the captain received a message: to come aboard the second ship per the request of someone. He smirked to himself, thinking it the lieutenant. Though he only skimmed it, not seeing that it was in fact, Hirato. Nonetheless, he carried a jovial air with him as he went to the second ship. However, the person he was looking for was not in sight.
Tsukumo was there instead. He felt slightly abashed that he hadn't noticed her immediately, but the girl was bizarrely quiet for someone her age. "Excuse me Tsukumo," He cleared his throat, feeling out of place. "Have you seen Iva or Hirato? I was called to come here, but the reason why has yet to be stated.."
Distractions and Detours
Iva remained smirking as she watched the captain initial reaction towards her statements. Between his lack of words and abundant laughter, the lieutenant couldn’t help but feel a sense of triumph upon it. At the moment, she had no words; the woman solely wished to see what words or actions would come after the man’s chucking. She just wanted to see what he would rebuttal with.
The corners of peachy lips formed into a slightly larger smile; at last, the captain replied in one of his similar fashions. “Tsukitachi, you have to realize that you left me no other choice, honestly” Her shoulders raised lightly, playfully shrugging once her remark left her lips and acting completely innocent of any teasing. However, once the golden hued man spoke of not using much of said charm, teal eyebrows rose as a quiet, interested “Oh?” escaped the woman’s mouth.
Tsukitachi’s intimate actions silenced the lieutenant, no longer being capable of voicing anything out. Her smirks formed into a an expression of curiosity, wondering what actions would come after him drifting closer towards her. Part of her wished to close her teal orbs shut; however, she felt rather entranced with the soft eye contact that the two Circus members had been holding. Once she felt the captain’s touch, her face went from portraying curiosity to expectation- eyes growing less wide. The lieutenant was now confident as to what these tender actions were leading to.
As previously frigid lips glided onto one another, the voluptuous woman felt her face grow warm. This kiss felt more intimate and simply different than the rest. Teal eyes grew half-lidded as she felt her heartbeat pound at a more rapid pace. Once more, she felt her hands slowly reflexively slide behind the man’s neck, pulling him in only a tad closer.
This must have been part of the charm the captain had referred to earlier.
It was amazing how both of the two's previous bubbly nature now quieted down with something as simple as a kiss; except the fact that this was so much more than that. It was as if he could taste that. Was it something they had been holding back all this time? While Tsukitachi made sure to restrain himself from such indulgences, there was no doubt in his mind that he had been looking forward to a touch and moment like this from Iva for what seemed like eons.
Despite the fact they were in near freezing weather, the captain quickly warmed up how intimate and close he was to Iva. Her warmth radiated onto him, brushing off the cold as if it was a pesky fly. In fact, her touch alone made him forget the very place they were at. While only pausing for breath, the man relished in the fact that she pushed to get closer, entrapping him (not that he complained) with her lithe arms around his neck.
She tasted different; an inexplicable taste, though it stayed fixed in his head. Sweet pecks then turned to minute-lasting suckles that pulled on the other's tissue. Cheeks burning hot, he continued nonetheless, already intrigued by the taste of the other's lips.
Distractions and Detours
Despite being a woman of bold nature, she felt her heart racing throughout the entire ordeal- completely embarrassed by its rapid movement though it would be nearly impossible for the redhead to notice. It contrasted her collected front greatly quite actually. The voluptuous woman wasn’t completely used to making the first move romantically after all. Regardless, she felt a sense of joy from Tsukitachi’s positive reaction.
Grin intact, Iva felt entertained by the captain’s initial response- expecting no less and no more from the guy. “A maybe, you say? That sounds like an incredibly obvious yes to me,” the lieutenant snickered, blatantly teasing the golden hued man. Teal eyes observed every part of the man’s expression; she much preferred his smile over the solemn look he had been wearing a while ago. The aspect she felt most enthralled with had to be the tint of his cheeks, however.
A light hand softly pushed the man’s uninjured shoulder as his last remark met her ears. “Oh, you think I’m simple enough to fall for such tricks?” The previously used hand then fell upon the woman’s frigid cheek, making a contemplative gesture. “Either I prove you wrong and you receive what you want or I remain a ‘bashful’ woman with a false front. Oh what ever should I do?” An index finger began tapping the side of her face as she dramatically though aloud.
“Well, it would be absolutely boring of me if I were to give you what you want so easily, no? However, I will freely allow you to act as the initiator right now, since it is your turn anyway; needless to say, there will be no objection on my part. That is, unless you aren’t bold enough,” she teased with a smirk in place, returning the captain’s challenge with one of her own.
A string of light-hearted chuckles made its way up through the captain's throat and out of his mouth, making him grin all the more. Truly, he was speechless--out of both shock and surprise; but how he enjoyed it. He relished in the fact that Iva could always manage to have another card up her sleeve that always caught him off-guard. That's what kept things between them interesting, was what he thought: the two always managed to go beyond the other's expectations.
"What a tease." He found no reason to speak as loudly as he did before, considering their intimacy at the moment. "Iva, you really shouldn't tempt superiors, as you obviously know how to do it well. While I may contemplate your challenge, know that you are being extremely unfair." A minute pout comes across. "I'm hardly using my charm, and here you are, tantalizing me."
Though he didn't stop there with his words. Despite him protesting, Tsukitachi did plan to do something:
Leaning in closer yet again, he took his time. While noses almost bumped into one another in a maladriot manner that could mock awkward teenagers, eye contact was solidified and established throughout this whole time. Digits had been aching to taste and get the touch of the olive mane, and went up to stroke through the bangs; despite having gloves on, the man was left to imagine that the hair was incredibly luxurious. He contemplated this shortly before lips met again, this time with a slower and measured pace that could reflect the experience both of them had. Said lips were eager to greet its tepid partner's, hoping to warm up from the frigid air. Tongue was restrained; an element the male deemed inappropriate at the present. Even without it, the taste was inviting and highly satisfying.
Distractions and Detours
“No, no, I get upset, I just don’t stay upset, you see?” the woman corrected him, playfully. She couldn’t have him thinking that she was incapable of becoming irked by the man, of course. “It’s a terrible idea to take advantage of women, Tsukitachi,” she groaned dramatically upon his remark. She attempted not to focus too much on his small statement concerning him being a weakness of hers. However, such a revelation frightened her greatly. Since youth she had pledged to never allow a man to have this type of hold on her. Despite this, now was not the time to ponder on such things- especially this early on in the two Circus members’ relationship.
Eyelids opened, revealing bright hues as soon as the lieutenant felt the captain’s touch. As tender as it felt, she knew what this was foreshadowing. Although they had shared a couple of kisses, she still felt a sense of nervousness upon waiting for the act; this feeling slightly irked her. She was a grown woman and not a teenager after all. Once more eyes shut, in expectation of a kiss; however, to her surprise, the action had been paused. And she felt a great sense of embarrassment for assuming that it was about to happen.
Orbs focused on the man, despite her emotions, she managed to reveal a small smirk. Judging by his expression, it looked as though he wished for her to initiate any intimacy; had it bothered him that she was hesitant to act in such ways? Or did he simply wish to tease her in order to gain a reaction?
After previous hesitancy, the lieutenant chose to act. Lifting her head up a tad, she at last initiated the kiss between the two- a warm, gloved hand sliding to grab a hold of the redhead’s neck. She held the gesture for a while- making it slightly hard to believe that she had been hesitant in the first place.
The previously unsure woman pulled away, smirk in place. She now solely wished for an amusing reaction from her partner.
“So, is that what you had been waiting for?”
If one really cared for their ego, they might have viewed Iva as challenging his masculinity; however, that was not the case with the captain. This is not to say that he lacks any sense of being a man--quite the contrary. He was willing enough to not hoard all of the dominance; such a petty little thing to worry about was not at all in Tsukitachi's style anyhow. So all things considered, he was glad Iva made that bold move--ecstatic by it, even.
"Iva, I already have one injury; attempting to bruise my ego with your charm and sass will leave me but a pile of shambles. Though to answer your question, I'll leave you with a 'maybe' just to see how you react." His cheeks were red, but one couldn't tell if that was from the kiss or the frigid air. Regardless, the apples of them were up, and even with the pain he felt in his arm, the sheer eccentricity he felt then numbed it. "If anything, that was just a peck from you, Miss. How bashful you can be sometimes--not at all living up to your "intimidating and bold" front you can put on." By teasing her, he hoped to steal another indirect smooch, though with what he guessed his chances were, the captain didn't count on it happening twice in such a short interval.
Though Iva did manage to work her charm on him already; that much was clearly evident.
Distractions and Detours
Reaching in her coat pocket, the lieutenant obtained her gloves to place back onto her hands, listening to the golden hued man’s playful words, trying ever so hard to not allow a smile to break her stone-faced demeanor. Despite her previous frustration with him, she admired that he could remain cheerful despite his injury; she would feel even more annoyed had he been moaning about it.
To her disdain, a tiny smirk quickly broke the mask she had been wearing. It appeared as though he had figured part of her out; he was able to see past her tough exterior. Her strength wasn’t much of a front, but many failed to see the kinder, more caring side of the woman at times. “So you think I have a weakness hm? Gee, I can’t tell if you’re insulting me or complimenting me right now. Well, for the time being, I can try to keep you around.” With a graceful movement of her wrist and a slight smile, she wafted her hand in the man’s general direction, physically dismissing Tsukitachi’s accusation of her being a heartbreaker.
With another sigh, the woman plopped herself down beside the man. She felt as though it had been ages since she had actually laid down anywhere. She placed the back of her hand over her forehead, an abundance of locks resting around her person. She chuckled upon one of the captain’s typical performance; she hadn’t met very many people who behaved more dramatically than the man next to her. She turned her head to face the captain- the quiet crunching of the snow followed. “You know, you make it really hard for me to argue with you or stay upset at you,” she groaned, shutting her eyelids. For some reason the captain was able to slither out of any spats; it was both incredibly frustrating and comforting to the teal hued woman.
"Then I suppose I should thank my luck that you're so fond of me to not get upset; but by no means should you take me lightly. Who knows? I just might take advantage of the fact that I might be a weakness of yours. Though I'd rather be on amicable terms with you than having you spite me with your 'femme fatale'. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned." Laughing to himself, he could picture Iva in that predicament, yelling at him over something he screwed up on the umpteenth time on. He questioned himself as to why it brought him this bizarre comfort. It wasn't really yelling, as much as it was just outright nagging. Iva had already fulfilled that step.
Leaning on his side to face Iva, the captain chewed on the inside of his cheek in quick thought. It had been mulling about in his mind for some time, but he was hesitant to bring it up again. Twice--it's happened already. While they gradually brought results, the female had failed to act independently. While Tsukitachi knew that it might have been a female's shyness when encountered with such a situation, he also knew that it was in Iva's nature to take the initiative. But still, it wouldn't hurt his chances.
His uninjured arm went to smoothly move Iva's own so that it was out of her face. Fingers went back to toss aside her ivy locks, making way for a kiss that only hinted at its coming a moment prior. The warmth of the other's lips gave some relief to the man; the chilly atmosphere was unkind to his body. However, Iva's lips were not. Pulling back by just a centimeter, his face still hovered over the other's, testing her. Would she make her own move? In his head (for if he dared to do it out loud, he knew the consequence that would follow) Tsukitachi laughed, wondering just how his luck would go this time.
“Of course,” he grunted, releasing a heavy sigh as he leaned back in his seat, legs crossing beneath his desk as he regarded his… Friend. He was no longer surprised by the simple responses he received from the other—in fact, he should even expect it. He watched with calculating and observant eyes as he made himself comfy, lips curling down into a small frown before he shook his head, pinching the bridge of his nose. Shaking his head, he allowed his hand to fall to the arm rest once more. Since it was evident that Tsukitachi was planning to stay, the Captain pushed himself back so that he could rise to his feet. Crossing the room, he pulled open a cabinet, removing a mostly empty bottle of liquor. “I am going to take it you’d like a glass?” Though he did not drink as much as the younger, it had become customary that they shared a drink during his visits.
"Yeah, but please, pull out the good stuff for me. I'm not going to divulge in those last-minute all-nighter alcohol you might resort to when you've neglected your reports, captain. By all means, I am too modest to indulge in your personal favorite. Instead, I'll have the one to the right," A gloved finger pointed to it. "The one with the crimson label on it...is that the one I gave you and you never drank?" Eyes sneered for half a second before dissolving--it seems he would drink his favorite anywho.
"So tell me, whatever scared you into making you into a recluse this evening? The higher-ups have you on edge, hm?" Curious grin in place, Tsukitachi and Hirato often had this unspoken, but lighthearted game of verbal teasing. Or at least, Tsukitachi saw it that way. It was that way with anyone who he though could loosen up a little, really.
Distractions and Detours
Hand clenched, Iva eyed the injured man as he presented his side of the situation. Her eyebrows remained furrowed as her mind tried to work out the appropriate response. Of course, she wouldn’t admit that she wouldn’t be the most rational of people when it came to almost every person listed; if she agreed with him then he would feel as though she believed that his action was acceptable.
Frigid lips parted as she went to speak in a more calm fashion. “Well, okay, I’ll admit that no one would remain in a normal mindset if a loved one is harmed by another. Without a doubt I would want revenge; however, at the same time, I would have to remain rational and avoid putting myself in a fatal position. Imagine actually dying while trying to avenge said loved one; imagine how everyone who loves you would feel with you permanently gone from their lives.” A frustrated sigh left the woman’s mouth, hoping she got her point across alright. “You know, I wouldn’t be able to live with myself had you lost your life on my watch.”
One arm crossed over the other, the woman’s facial expression grew visibly flustered. Dainty hand curled into a fist, she reflexively landed a punch on the man’s uninjured arm; it wasn’t a hard one, because the woman wasn’t ruthless enough to injure and already injured comrade (no matter how much he had deserved it in her book). Really, who does he think he is? Still, she was glad to see him back to his normal self.
“I’m not heartless enough to not look after you no matter how brash you acted,” she commented with closed eyes. “I understand that such behavior isn’t a part of your normal personality. Next time I see such behavior coming from you, if an enemy doesn’t wind up killing you, then I’ll take it upon myself to do the deed.” Despite the fact that she remained slightly upset with the captain, her playfulness was slowly creeping back although her final teasing remark was rather deadpanned.
Bracing himself for the punch, Tsukitachi still kept up his playful look, even when attacked. Though he was far too lethargic to move then. If his arm wasn't enough an excuse, lying in the snow was something that absolutely compelled him to lie there. "You're not heartless at all," He felt free to correct her, still observing her with interest. "And that will be your weakness. You say you'll act rational when the time comes, but with a heart like yours--that's even bigger than mine--whoever crosses your path won't be left alive, I can tell you that much~ Though I certainly hope you won't be getting rid of me anytime soon, Iva." He was comfortable enough with her to address the female on a first-name basis. "Kisses then a kill, eh? My, maybe you aren't heartless; maybe you're a heartbreaker to the core."
Pout in place, the man feigned his tragedy, sighing dramatically as he turned his cheek the other way. Though he did chance a glance at Iva. "Too bad I like you too much to stay away. Even if you are a "threat"." His grin reflected his playfulness and that he really didn't take any of her insults to heart.
Distractions and Detours
A scowl remained plastered on the teal lieutenant’s face, paralyzed and unsure on what exactly she needed to do, considering that her question remained completely ignored. Much to her disdain, she figured that she would use Crown’s Gleam to protect the two in this instant; better safe than sorry is what she figured. As she pulled up a slender hand with jewels revolving around it, the captain’s harsh command invaded her hearing.
Frantically and furiously, she halted any action with her gems- teal hues piercing the redhead, all of her frustration appearing in her expression. She was no longer set on not activating any shield for the two; the captain did tell her to hurry up after all. Despite the fact that Iva was fully capable of activating a shield as well as following behind the captain, she allowed herself to act on her current feelings. At this point in time, it appeared to be to each his or her own.
Following behind, she still remained ready to attack, although her resolve appeared to be a tad weakened. It wasn’t long until the two Circus members were nearly face to face with the ferocious looking valga. Iva figured she would not consult the man before acting considering she would most likely not receive a response.
Within a flash, the lieutenant viewed the captain’s action and the assault landed on him as a result; her face of disdain changed into one of shock naturally. Wide eyed, she reflexively turned towards the monster, ready to destroy it; however, the banshees had barely beat her to the punch.
Before facing the injured captain once more, she took a few seconds to manage her thoughts and recuperate. She couldn’t help but place some of the blame on herself for refraining from shielding the two. The rest of the blame she left for Tsukitachi. Although she didn’t wish to voice this out at the moment, she was incredibly relieved that the captain was relatively alright.
Brisk steps walked over to the golden hued redhead, orbs focusing on his injury and the man’s expression. It appeared as though he rid himself of the negative emotions that he had been bearing at the expense of Iva gaining negative and angry emotions. Stone-faced, she listened to his apology although she failed to respond.
Dulled hues glanced at the bandages, grimacing slightly as she stood above him.
“So now you wish for my help?” cold lips asked with a tone coated in spite.
Despite Iva’s tone and words, she kneeled in front of the captain, slowly wrapping the makeshift bandage around her partner’s shoulder. She attempted to find the right words to voice out; however, she would have to settle with jumbled, hasty, and angry words because she could not remain silent any longer.
“Do you realize how foolish that stunt of yours was?” At last, she had broken her silence and she felt as though she was releasing everything she had wished to say to him over these past moments. The voluptuous woman left her eyebrows furrowed, unable to wear a mask of any other emotion. “Not only was it foolish, but it was completely selfish. Although you may have thought that your deed was noble- it wasn’t, Tsukitachi.” Slender hands finished wrapping up the wound. Despite the multiple layers, a light, crimson stain shown through. The lieutenant left one hand beside the man’s injury as the other one remained a fist.
“You can’t be acting so hastily, especially as a captain; there are only so many times you can apologize for such things. You act on raw emotion, which can be incredibly detrimental as you can see. Tell me, what would happen if this injury was worse hm? I’m puzzled as to why you brought me here even to be honest. Solely to assist you once you decided to act brashly? ” Iva halted her longwinded scolding as she looked away from the captain and towards his wound. She was truly glad that he hadn’t been injured more and she assumed that such a feeling needn’t be addressed verbally, since it should have been implied. The lieutenant remained kneeling next to the captain, waiting for his response.
Allowing the female to patch him back up, Tsukitachi let out a few grunts here and there (no doubt Iva getting back at him for making such a reckless move) when she wrapped the gauze around his wounds a bit too tight. However, he realized that he was in no position to argue, not one bit. Already, he had known Iva to be of the extremely strong and stubborn type, not the kind to at all back down. So when this situation arose, it wasn't any surprise that she scolded him like she did.
"I am aware of my position and obligations. But tell me Iva, would you really restrain yourself if someone you cared about got hurt?" Questioning, he also flipped it back to Iva. "Tsukumo? Kiichi? Hirato? Your sisters? Your family even? What about if you had a lover? Honestly, could you look me straight in the eye and tell me you would act as rationally as possible when faced with the person that dared laid a finger on them? I certainly didn't--I'll admit to that. You even saw me--I wasn't myself. That wasn't me, but it was."
Though Iva did have a point, he had to admit.
Sighing, he was careful not to strain any muscles while attempting to lie back on the snow. Scooching some away from the red patches, the captain found a need to lie back, even if it was pouring down white powder. Looking to the woman, he did manage to find one upside to the whole situation:
"You're cute when you're mad." Testing his luck, he dared a cheeky grin to his partner. Nudging her with his good arm, he acted extremely child-like, hoping to tide her over with his charm. "I appreciate you looking out for me. While I was in a blind rage, I'm afraid I wasn't as witty as I normally would be. No doubt that might have shocked you some."
Distractions and Detours
Eyebrows raised, Iva listened to the captain apologize to her for forgetting to fully explain this investigation’s details. She authentically did not feel bent out of shape over it though, yet it appeared that the man believed otherwise considering his somewhat long apology. “Oh, you don’t need to worry about it, Tsukitachi,” the lieutenant reassured him, quaintly smiling. Her expression remained unchanging upon his playful words. Though she couldn’t respond before the atmosphere changed once more. Had she had the chance, she would have told him to stop being so overly dramatic and that she could see most normal mothers absolutely adoring him for their daughters.
Teal orbs observed the captain’s facial expressions- once again, fluctuating from cheerful to serious. She put on a serious front, but a small frown also made its way on her lips. She wished to warn him about his emotions getting the best of him; however, she knew that as a lieutenant who is currently working with a captain, it was not in her place to say such things. The captain was simply a passionate man, which could be one’s greatest strength and weakness. Anyway, she was well aware that she had told Tsukitachi to remain careful earlier; being redundant was futile.
His sharp and sudden words brought the voluptuous woman out of her own thoughts. Her left hand tugged the glove off of her right- which immediately proceeded to reach for the power gems buried within her coat’s pocket.
“Shall I be on the offensive or defensive?” pale lips asked the redhead, expecting a rapid reply. She knew that she could use her Sapphire Crown to attack the enemy; however, she was unsure if defending the captain and her with Crown’s Gleam for the moment would be their best bet. She was frankly hoping that the man would choose offensive; simply putting up a shield was not only tedious, but it consumed a good amount of energy.
Using all of his senses to hone in on the incoming threat, Iva's words fell on deaf ears. The line on his lips was the most solemn he had toted, one just for the occasion of getting vengeance--Iva was right in that aspect; he had let his emotions get to him. However, he would let that particular matter settle all on its own. The man had a personal score with the Varuga that attacked his crew--practically his own family--and he would seek it out to ensure that it met a cruel fate.
Needless to say, Iva's inquiry went unanswered. Tsukitachi was far too busy trying to sniff out the stench of the fiend. A swear slipped out, with limbs just as nimble as his opponent flashing from point to point in the air, heading in the general direction of the center of the woods. A few of the scattered female ghouls slithered and flew through the forest, all having one general mission in mind.
"Hurry up." His voice bellowed with severity, though still holding back so he wouldn't actually bark at the woman. Eyes flickered in front of him, then seeing the culprit: lying in the treetrops was a monster that bore a canine build, but with an indigo hue to its outline. Jaw dribbling with anticipation, it eyed the man below as a tasty treat.
And he would lure him out with that idea in mind. So boldly, he stood, as free bait for the other-
And it took it.
Jaws sunk in the triangles of his neck and part of his shoulder; while it was an extremely risky move on his part, Tsukitachi would rather he be the bait than Iva. His ears did manage to pick up the near silent gasp the woman emitted, only responding with a silent grin as the fiend gnawed at his flesh. Though to its dismay, it didn't last for long, as the banshee quickly took care of it with its own claws.
Turning his back to the bloodfest, Tsukitachi began to undress himself, already set on dressing his wound. Though a lot of blood had been spilled (and was still pouring), he remained calm. "I supposed I owe you another apology, Iva." He muttered quietly. "You were right--I did let my emotions get the best of me." Hands took the bandages off of his tophat, readying them to apply to his own shoulder.
Slightly wincing whenever his arm moved, he looked up at the woman as he took a seat on the ground, despite the wraiths torturing the fiend as cruelly as possible. They were like the manifestation of his anger and frustration of his vengeance. "Do you mind helping me out?" Offering the bandages, the redhead pleaded softly for Iva to dress his wounds. He knew he would get an earful, but Iva was totally justified in that right.
[ Somehow he was not at all surprised to see that it was Tsukitachi, though maybe a little bit caught off guard. At his spoken remark, the second captain allowed the corner of his lips to quirk up into a little smirk before it faltered for a moment. Pushing the leaflets away, he cradled his cheek into a loosely formed fist. ]
— Tried to, but I thought you were Yogi trying to harass me about some thing or another and I was getting fed up. —
