❝ So.. Michael. ❞ Marko didn’t doubt David. He never could, not after everything he had done for him. Some people would look at what David had done as monstrous all Marko saw when he looked at David was family. He saved him. But right now Micheal seemed to be messing things up. He wasn’t taking it the way the rest of them had. He didn’t want to see something bad happen to his family. He hoped Paul saw it the same way.

❝ Who are you? ❞ He circled the stranger with a very prominent almost gleeful childlike smile stretched across his face. He was grinning but no one would mistake the look in his eyes for anything but predatory.

His nose crinkles upward in feigned disgust, gives a snort of a laugh that’s followed by a scoff. “Yeah? Says who? DAVID?” It’s mocking, intended in some form of satire that Paul doesn’t have the sense to elaborate upon.
❝ Oh wouldn’t you like to know. ❞ Any attempt at keeping a serious tone was hidden by the burst of laugher that escaped his lips at the look on his best friend’s face. Marko bent over and his eyes watered due to his uncontrollable laughter. His joke wasn’t all that funny but no one should probably tell Marko that.

The smack to the back of his head is met with a playful punch to the other vampire’s shoulder. “No one wants to hear about your ass, Marko.” He grins, fighting back an ONSLAUGHT of obnoxious snickers that still manage to slip past in muffled waves.
❝ Its a very nice one though. ❞ Marko replied voice dripping with sarcasm. He returned the punch he received, not bothering to suppress the laugh from escaping his lips as he did.

He flicks the back of Marko’s ear the way one would expect from a mischievous friend. By all accounts that’s exactly what Paul is. When Marko turns, however, Paul is quick to act intentionally conspicuously while simultaneously pretending it couldn’t have possibly been him. “Wasn’t me.”
Marko feels the flick against his skin and he can practically SEE the smug grin plastered across his friend’s face. Unfortunately for Paul it prompted Marko to sport a childlike smile of his own. He turned around facing the other before smacking him on the back of the head. ❝ Wasn’t you, my ass. ❞
