I’m getting back to my usual bullshit and rambles!
Okay, let’s talk about the Solace family after Sebastian got arrested and ‘executed’. Before I start doing all of ts, most of these are all headcanons!
Imagine how hard it must have been to be either Isaias, Lia, and their mom at that time, Isaias was only ten years old (I think he is 9 years younger than Seb, I don’t remember if this was confirmed or not). This poor kid had to grow up believing he was related to a murderer, and his school life? Oh boy it must have been horrible due to bullying. And the writing division blog.. which is sadly no longer here.. said “11 years if a long time” or something like that, meaning he probably hates Sebastian for something he never did. He grew up and majored in marine biology and kept art as a hobby.
And Lia? It has been confirmed that she is three years older than Seb, she was 22 years old at the time, it was obvious that she loved her brother due to some art that was posted. Lia started majoring in criminal law, she didn’t want what happened to Sebastian to happen to anyone she loved.
While mama solace? That poor lady was being sent mail almost all the time telling her how she raised a ‘murderer’. As much as she wanted to believe her son killed many individuals, she could never wrap her head around it, Sebastian would always be her son, she would always love him, she knew it would never be something her innocent Sebastian would do. Nine count of murder would probably have gone to the news as well.
once Sebastian and Painter managed to escape from the Hadal Blacksite twelve years later, it was risky due to his current state. His mom accepted that he was alive and innocent after all, after she saw it on the news and got notified, she immediately ran to see it for herself and gave her son the biggest hug. She didn’t care that he was a fifty-foot fish, he was still her son.
Isaias was still unforgiving of Sebastian though, it took a while for him to accept Seb’s presence, let alone forgive him for something he never even did, at the end it is just brotherly love, it’s like nothing changed, at least a little more after Innovation Inc. turned him back to human (with fishy features though).
while Lia has majored in criminal law, when she heard the news that Sebastian was innocent and alive, she was so pleased. The effects of Sebastian’s arrest did not hit her as hard compared to the rest of her family because she has already moved out of the house at that time. Albert whiskers (the cat) was living with Isaias and Mama solace, Lia got a dog after she moved, he was a rescued Golden Retriever with lots of energy. She named him Balee!
