Me to my partner after a 10 hour shift: "Did you eat? What did you eat? Do you want me to make or order you something? Caffeine and water are not meals."
Me when my partner asks me anything eating related: "No."

It's more important than ever to stay healthy in these dark times! Here's some healthy eating and general nutrition guides for plant-based diets. Answering the all-too common "where do I get my iron, etc?" questions.
How to make substitutions:
Vegan superfoods and everyday staples:
You know when you have that unbelievable cravings that ussually end up as a huge binge?
Maybe if you eat only these low-cal healthy foods, you will be able to save some useless calories.
This issue with me is I’m really good at restricting but when I do eat I binge and it’s always high calorie carb snacks. So I’ve created my safety food drawer for when I do binge. It contains energy drinks, chewing gum for when I can resist. But for when I can’t I have baby bells, raisins, fibre bars, skinny whip , ryvita and rice cakes they’re all low cal. I’ve been thinking about purging, any tips on how to safely purge as the thoughts are so overwhelming I don’t know how long I can hold off it. Please flood my inbox on how to do it secretly too, I’m sick of looking the way I do. I also have fruit and vegetables that I can snack on but obviously they can’t go in my snack drawer.
Low cal frosting (102 cal/serving)
I've been seeing a low cal frosting recipe using jell-o pudding and cool whip floating around. My grocery store didn't have the exact ingredients and I ended up with a different cal amount so I wanted to post my results.
Ingredients-
One 1-oz pkg sugar free jello-pudding (80 cal/pkg)
One cup unsweetened almond milk (30)
One 8 oz tub cool whip (500 cal/pkg)
Directions
Whisk jell-o and almond milk together until it's smooth and thick
Gently fold in cool whip
That's it! Super easy!
I portioned mine out into 6 containers at 102 cal per serving. Goes really well with strawberries or a sliced apple! Totally satifies my sweet tooth.
Feeling the craving for something sweet, but low cal?
Go ahead and make yourself a 3-2-1 cake! The recipe is really simple and it makes a personal cake (for less than 100 cal!) Here’s the recipe, but you might have to do some math based on the mix you used. I used Kroger Yellow cake mix (1/3 cup dry is 160 cal, but we only need 3 tbsp) The best part of this it that there’s literally only 2 ingredients.
♡
3-2-1 Cake
Ingredients: box of cake mix, water
Directions: get a small microwave safe bowl. Take 3 tablespoons of cake mix of choice (might require math if dry serving is not 160 cal per 1/3 cup)
Add 2 tablespoons of water, and stir well until there are no clumps.
Microwave for 1 minute.
Dress it up however you like, but remember to count the calories of your add ons! Enjoy!

Low cal summer snack 🍦🍇
We need a blueberry emoji. Seriously 😂 but anyway! I’m sure many of you have heard of or seen this and I always kinda pushed it to the side but PLEASE try it!
All I used for this is blueberries and low fat yogurt, I plopped the blueberries in and then put it on parchement paper to freeze!
-1 container blueberries (78 cals)
-1 container low fat yogurt (35 cals)
Whole recipe= 113 cals!!
This is so good and refreshing. It’s also like a really yummy version of frozen yogurt!! Only much more satisfying. It took me an hour to eat tbh because it gave me brain freeze a lot and I took my time. Also blueberries are really good for you and the yogurt has protein, so even though I wasn’t hungry I didn’t feel bad. I HIGHLY suggest this if you feel like you’re going to binge, but it was so filling i would consider this two portions if you’re just looking for a snack. If you have half it’s only 57 cals!! Say safe loves. 💜

Healthy cookies PACKED with nutrients! 🍌
I made these cookies this morning for my first day of school, I’m going to most likely update it and make it more improved since I was in a rush! There’s more low cal options out there but this is packed with only healthy fats, and flavour. All the ingredients I used are healthy and have benefits!
The whole recipe is 234 calories so 58.5 calories per cookie if you make 4. OR you could make mini ones for 15.6 cals if you make 16 of them. They look small but that’s because i didn’t spread them enough and I should’ve added water or maybe almond milk. As I said I’ll experiment but this is the recipe for the ones pictured!
Here it is!
-45 grams Quaker oats (180)
-1 medium banana, used 57 grams (51)
-½ teaspoon cinnamon (3)
I added three packets of Splenda but to be honest I didn’t even think it needed it! The banana made them naturally sweet. ✨
I also added almond extract, vanilla extract and pumpkin spice but that’s totally up to you! Calories will vary depending on brands.
I mixed all the ingredients and put them on a parchement paper, preheated the oven to 400• and cooked them for 15 minutes!
They came out super warm, I felt super cozy eating it. 😌
My sister tried one hours later and said it was better cold than warm so if you like crunchy cookies I’d wait a few hours! (They were left in the fridge, wrapped so you could definitely save them for school/work lunches and such!)
I’m aware that these are more high calorie compared to other cookies I’ve seen on here, but it’s worth it. It definitely cures a sweet tooth as well! Basically like as if banana bread and an oatmeal cookie had a love child. 🍌💕
