I think some of the image embeds in some of your older fics might be broken (Or at least they're not showing up on my phone/laptop for some reason!) I think they're just memes and reaction images from the notes but they always made me laugh - No need to answer this publically! I just figured I would let you know in case it was an easy-enough fix :) 🩷

Thanks for letting me know! I am going to go ahead and boop this out there publicly just so others who find my fics and my blog will also know, and to make a little request juuust in case I luck out.

Alas, there are indeed a lot of silly broken gifs and other stuff in my old notes. 😩 I wish I could go find and re-link all of them, but I'm afraid they're lost to time. I'm always torn on whether to remove the broken images altogether, or leave them to indicate that there WAS something there.

These days, I host most things on my own domain so that I can ensure they last at least as long as I do. But back then I was not so savvy.

One day when I have the time I do want to go through and clean up all the old broken images and links. They made me laugh too--I'm sad to see how many have already been lost to time! That's the fleeting nature of the internet I guess. 😞

If anyone has any downloaded copies of my fics that include all the old gifs, please lmk! (I know it's unlikely though!) I'd love to be able to go through and try to replace them with working, self-hosted gifs.

Scrolling tumblr is so much more embarrassing when I’m in Thailand because in America no one else knows who Jeff Satur is. But in Thailand if I open my phone on the train I feel like it’s like opening my phone to fan pics of Justin Bieber or smth, so embarrassing 😩
