Bobby is actually really big on the cuddling thing and he probably wants Austin in his arms every chance he gets when they’re spending time together. He’s big on the whole spooning thing so Austin sitting in his lap? Probably a thing that happens. And then any position that lets him reach Austin’s hair because he definitely remembers the fact that Austin likes having his hair stroked and he’s going to use it to his advantage and also because it makes him feel good to do something like that that he knows Austin enjoys even more than he does, and that is a big thing for Bobby tbh.

“Maybe - I wanted it to be a surprise,” he let out jokingly at the idea of going the entire night making no clear indications on where he was planning on sleeping that night - knowing full well that he was going to take his spot next to his lover.  With the aroma of their meal now filling the air, Austin’s once split attention was now on Bobby and the food he was going about cooking. It was nearly amusing to him how the older was so keyed on what he was doing - clearly missing the romantic notion behind it all.  His own idea of romance being with someone he had felt no shame in letting his guard down around - someone he could be honest with, someone who let him drop his facade of Adam Cole around.  He cared none about food - Just Bobby - the food was just an added bonus into all of it. 

A quick blush crossed over his face at the question presented at him, a chuckle escaping past his parted lips, “I imagine I’d be woken up by a not so strange person in my bed - but why make more distance when I could be right there?”

“That certainly would be an interesting surprise. Though I don’t know if either of us would be patient enough to see it through to its inevitable end.” Bobby chuckled and glanced over his shoulder at Austin again. It was becoming a bad habit, or maybe it was a good habit, to stare at Austin when he was in the middle of doing just about anything. There was the fact that the boy was just plain pretty, no way around it, from the gorgeous silky hair he kept longer than Bobby would ever have the patience to deal with, to the bright blue eyes that shamed even a cloudless spring sky. But it was more than that, far more than anything considered purely aesthetic. It was him, the smile, the way he seemed to feel so comfortable around Bobby, like he no longer had to keep up the facade he kept up for the rest of the world. And that was always beautiful to see.

“Right there next to me. That is exactly where I would want you, I assure you.” Bobby smiled. The words held a truer sentiment than he had maybe ever expressed with Austin before. “Besides, my mattress is clearly the much more comfortable one.”

1. Bobby has that fucking shark tracker app on his phone and he is very concerned about what Pablo has been doing out there on his mission in the deep blue seas. He’s curious but also very concerned.2. Bobby dances and sings around the house when he cooks and cleans and is the only one there. Thus far, he has not forgotten when a guest is in the house--except once, when Kyle was there, but Kyle has totally not let him in on the fact that Kyle saw him singing along to “All Over You” like that.3. In another life he probably would have been an excellent sugar daddy because he has a weird habit of picking up on younger men that is accidental in its entirety and also he has plenty of money to lavishly spoil someone.4. He would probably get a lot more tattoos but he is so leery of spending so much money on them and he absolutely cannot hold still long enough for the tattoo to get done so he has far fewer than he would like to have.Bonus: I’m sure he has at one time or another flirted with Kushida. Just because.

“I think you should be the one answering that question, Fish. I bet you thought you’d have a lot more corrupting to do when you first started showing interest in me, didn’t you? Bet you thought that I was some bug-eyed puppy dog with paws too big for his body….” he wouldn’t have blamed Bobby, to be honest. He probably had been a little more that way than he’d let on, back then. Even now, from time to time. He was just a puppy dog more focused in equaling happiness for his owner than he was anything else. That might have meant he’d taken to a thing here or there that he hadn’t been sure about until after they were done. No harm, no foul, though. “Few patrons might not be willing, but I thought you were supposed to play the role of my sugar daddy, weren’t you?” the words and the slight giggle that followed showed just how mischievous of a mood Kyle was in right now.

Mood mmphasized with his flash of a grin and his move away from the others hold, smacking him on the ass as he took two steps past him and turning around. “You think that the young, wild stallion of Shelley is going to steal me away? Yoink me from your grasp and then go and break my heart? He might instill the rebellion in me. I could join a gang, y’know.”

“You still are a puppy with paws too big for his body. You’re getting closer and closer to growing into them every day, though, and that’s very fun to watch.” Bobby jumped at the way Kyle slapped his ass, his eyes widening at the very brazen move from the younger but his smile simply widened and he laughed, shaking his head in disbelief. It was so good to see Kyle in a good mood, especially a good mood like this, and he was not about to complain, not a single bit. “Believe me when I say I wouldn’t be adverse to you calling me Daddy but as I’ve said many a time, that’s always going to be up to you.” Bobby shook his head at himself. It had been a joke he had made before, and he knew many others had made the joke about them, but he doubted it would ever happen. Which was not to say it never would, just that he had his doubts, and Kyle had never given him that vibe before.

“What gang are you going to join?” he asked, and unable to help himself, “An anime gang? Death Note-centric? Because that seems to be about as edgy and troublesome as he gets. Like I’m pretty sure Kushida is the actual scarier of the two. Now Chris Sabin... That is the only one I would ever be worried about trying to get you into trouble.”

“I would really hope I am a much better superhero than one of those. Aquaman is very uninteresting. I haven’t quite mastered talking to fish yet, unfortunately. The goal is to get sharks to come on command.”

“I still think you just want to believe I’m naughty. Big, bad Bobby Fish wouldn’t survive with a sweet and innocent little man in his bed every night,” Kyle’s voice dropped in volume for the second sentence, sending his lover a little wink and trapping the tip of his tongue between his teeth. Cheeky. Even if there was a part of him that knew he wasn’t on the same kind of levels as the older, he also knew that he was a lot less wholesome than his exterior gave him credit for. At least when you really got used to him. He was a good boy and all, but… well, you know the rest. “A Mothra? So you’ll only support my dreams if it gets you a Mothra, huh? Pshh… I guess we could throw together one for you. On a smaller scale. We can’t give you as much power as Godzilla gives us.”

The slightest little action was completely obvious to Kyle, knowing his partner inside and out almost as well as he knew himself, it wasn’t exactly difficult to pick up the pitfalls and rises - at least not with Bobby, when most of them time together relied on the reading of body languages. It was a sixth sense, at this point. “Commitment issues? Tell me then.. are you more worried about trusting him with my creation, or with me?”

“I think I would die trying to corrupt you because what in the world would I do with someone innocent and wholesome? I would absolutely not know what to do with myself.” Bobby grinned at the thought and shook his head. Yeah, he certainly had a tendency to live up to his “sleazy” nickname. Yeah, he probably would have tried to corrupt Kyle if that had been the case. Too bad he would never know if he would have succeeded in that venture. Might have been its own little adventure. “And what can I say? I’m a practical man, and very few patrons are willing to offer up their contributions without the promise of something for their monetary effort. Besides, a Mothra would be pretty, and it would give me something to distract myself with while you and Patrick raze all of Japan with your big lizard mutant.”

And that was certainly a fair question, though it had Bobby smiling, slightly embarrassed, as he squeezed Kyle’s hip and pulled him just a little closer. “Well,” he said, tracing a finger along Kyle’s hip, tracing an invisible K over the fabric of his trunks, “a dinosaur doesn’t mean nearly as much to me as you do, so I think that answers itself, doesn’t it?”

“I’m always a fan of using my size to my advantage,” Bobby admitted. He gestured to himself. “Not very tall, as you can see, so trying to throw people around? Not such a great idea.”

Jeff grinned. “I’m glad you consider us the best competition you could face. We’d love to train with you sometime if you’re down.”

Bobby smiled in turn. “I can’t speak for my partner but I can speak for myself and I’m always looking for new training partners. The more people I can learn from, the better.”
