i just need to vent :( sooo i feel so stupid right now because i'm upset about the kai and krystal thing. obviously i love my bias, and i know i'll never be with him. i want him to be happy, and if krystal makes him happy, then i totally support him, her, and their relationship. i know people judge because "he's just a celebrity" and "you don't actually know them irl" but like...i'm so emotionally invested. i just love kim jongin so much but if he's happy it'll be ok. sorry idk where this went.
ahh come vent to me 💗 ill listen to you bbyofc you’re going to be emotionally invested!! there’s a reason you feel this way and it’s bc kpop companies WANTS you to feel this way. they purposely promote their idols as being attainable and devoted to their fans only (hence why dating bans are so common, and idols caught dating can have their careers ruined, see day6), and of course this helps create a delusion amongst fans. you’re not being weird or strange for feeling like that, it justs means their marketing is successful.i’m not a kai stan but i know for sure if news broke that suho is dating id be heartbroken. not because i don’t love him or want him to be happy, nor bc i don’t support the relationship or think the girl is “good enough”, but because we spend A LOT of time and money on our biases and get very emotionally invested, we are bound to get hurt and upset when the illusion is shattered. no one is blaming you for that ♡ even if you know deep inside that your bias doesnt know you exist, or that dating would be impossible (language, culture, ethnicity, age barriers), that doesnt mean that we dont still feel like we still have a tiiiny chance. after all its the investment in our biases that makes us loyal to a certain group = more money for the companyanyway, my point is that its fine that youre upset and youre allowed to be! 🙌🏻 hell you can even step back for a little while if looking at photos of kai is too much right now. or maybe even focus a little more on another of your fav groups. its ok yknow?? the only thing thats super important (!!) is that you dont spread or participate in hate towards krystal/kai/their relationship/etc… but judging from your message you dont seem like that kind of person at all 🍃
