I think the thing that pisses me off the most about older generations is that they expect kids nowadays to be a shining example. As if they have no responsibility as to why kids are the way they are nowadays. Always going back to, “Well when I was younger...” Stop. STOP. There were older people telling the hippies that they were ruining society. There were older people telling the greasers they were ruining society.There were older people telling YOU that you were ruining society. Wow. Drill it in there long enough that all these kids are fuck ups and they WILL fuck up. Have you any damn faith in us? And you’re blame free? Get out of here. No one here was asked to be born and all of us were born into circumstances that were out of our control, it’s as simple as that. Take the good with the bad, know your history, and stop pretending you played no part in how things are today. THEN when we stop trying to point the finger we might actually be able to move forward.
