so for a huge amount of reasons, i wont be coming back to this blog. my mental issues are so bad that even typing this is causing me to panic a little, but im finally feeling up to this so here i am.

i want to apologize to my followers on here, especially to my mutuals. and most of all to my online friends that i just havent reached out to when i seemingly dissappeared.

my new account is @shigerumiyamotos and my main/art blog is @farraigeart

im trying to move forward so i dont want anything from before referenced please. this has been a fresh start and i want to keep moving. please respect that and dont bring this blog over to the new one if u decide to follow. and since its important, im transgender btw. im a guy, please refer to me as such.

also, if i dont follow u back on my new blog (even if we’re friends) please dont take offence. im trying to really only follow blogs that just make me happy with things i like. discource isn’t good for me rn even tho i recognize it can be important.

right now im very excited for smash bros, so its an easy time for me (as easy at it can get) to post this because i remeber being excited for smash bros on this blog. so the new one will still be familiar.

you're not wrong or fucked up for being asexual. what ppl on here are criticizing are straight and cis asexual people trying to be apart of a community that is trying to find safety away from straight people. if your lgbt asexual then all love and good things to you and you are normal and good

i know what the whole ace discourse is about

but my problem is that people who claim to be trying to keep me safe are going around making awful posts about asexuality being fake, weird, wrong, etc.

i’ve seen a lot of posts saying that by being ace and gay, i have internalized homophobia and im abusing? my significant other? by denying her sex??i worry a lot about my girlfriend being happy with me, even though she could not care less about sex, these posts going around get me paranoid and feeling like shiti, as a gay person, absolutely do not feel safe when i see an extremely large about of posts mocking asexuality as a whole, and not to mention all the posts ive seen saying “ace ppl need to die” and similar things like thati appreciate the kind words but as of right now, this site has not been helping me feel normal and good

How Laika Made an 18-Foot Stop-Motion Puppet For ‘Kubo and the Two Strings’

Laika, the Oregon-based stop-motion animation house, usually films its movies using hand-crafted puppets that are just 6-12 inches tall. But for its latest film, Kubo and the Two Strings, which Focus Features will release, Aug. 19, it went in the opposite direction, creating an 18-foot tall stop motion puppet that’s believed to be the largest stop-motion puppet ever built.

“It was by far the largest puppet we ever created,” VFX supervisor Steve Emerson said today at the Siggraph CG confab taking place at the Anaheim Convention Center, at which the Kubo filmmakers offered a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the movie. “It seemed insane so of course we did it.”
