SUMMARY
born to a generational curse, elias olsen only knew the life his ancestors had laid out before him, one of seclusion and survival. he always knew he was different, his father made it clear the monster they both shared. he tried to teach him ways to keep his humanity and quiet that agonizing hunger that bit and clawed at them. hunt for your meat, stay away from people, pretend it wasn't slowly driving you to the edge of insanity, just like it had your mom that day she drove her car into the lake.
nothing worked and elias learned very quickly he lacked the restraint of his father.
curiosity killed the cat and the pull of both blood and a normal life was too much to ignore. elias was ten the first time he killed someone - a secret friend he had made during one of his many hushed trips into town. it was almost second nature, the way he so easily devoured him like the many elk he had shot down in the forest. word traveled fast of the boys murder and the strange friend from the outskirts of town, forcing elias and his father on the run until they eventually settled in remote alaska. life and survival continued on but nothing remained the same for elias and that hunger of his only grew stronger until it inevitably broke him. he was sixteen the day he killed his father, the same day he left his old life and never looked back.
it was on the road he met who would later become his bandmates - a group of three cast aside boys shrouded in chaos and violence. elias easily fit in and soon found himself wrapped up in a world of crime, anarchy, and music which seemed to be the perfect place to hide his growing hunger. through arsine and bloodshed the metal band famine quickly gained a cult following, playing shows in secret all over the country. with such a nomadic and destructive lifestyle elias comes to a violent means of accepting that monster he's been taught to run from.
