And pretty much as soon as his brother is in there, Sunstreaker drags him over to the berth, gets him situated, and then crawls up to lay down on top of him with a heavy exvent and a grumpy - if relieved - wave of affection pushed over their bond.

Headcanon that when Sunstreaker gets too grumpy, Sideswipe will just flop on him and refuse to move until he cheers up.
I totally accept this headcanon.
He probably holds onto things to keep from having to move.
