First Aid made a mechanical whining noise in his recharge. Unmasked, the distress on his face was apparent.

He kept having the same nightmare. It never seemed to go away. And it always made him wake up feeling like slag.

The noises were becoming more frequent, sounding more upsetting. Until a scream tore from him.

First Aid woke to find someone trying to wake him. Someone very small. He instantly locked his joints to keep from crushing the tiny creature.

And then his processor started to wake up as he registered who was there. Leah. When did she get there? First Aid honestly couldn’t remember.

“… Leah…? I– I did not mean to wake you.“

"Boop."
