There comes a time when you admit that you have hit a wall. That wall was when my second child was born. I had been a stay at home mom for around three years and a homemaker for five years. After that second kid I admited  I had oatmeal for brain a lot of the time. Still do, blahhh..

Just finished Sailor Moon Crystal episode 26!

I like it! Yet...I really do miss the original now. Now I need to watch it. ;) Oh! and I still need to read the manga.

I've been watching the Chinese remake of Korean drama She Was Pretty. Which is called Pretty Li Hui Zhen. I'm on episode 23 of 40. So I'm just over half way there. I have seen the original and honestly Pretty Li Hui Zhen isn't as funny. I still like it though, I must if I committed to watching over half of 40 episodes hah!

I enjoy the drama, yet find myself annoyed. I like both dramas yet I kinda don't... As a naturally curly haired women I have grown up in a world where it seems like everyone is telling me that curly hair is bad. Unless it's curls made by a curling iron. Natural curls are not "in" and us naturally curly women are seen as frizz balls and untidy. There are so many girls and women that hide the fact they have curly hair. It's sad. It's terrible we are made to feel like our hair is terrible, crazy, and not pretty. 

Personally I prefer the female lead's hair curly over being straight. It just looks so weird when she has the straight hair.. Plus it's like she's conforming. Why couldn't she have kept her hair curly and just warn it differently? 

Sorry for the hair rant...it's just hard. I'm setting here typing while my curly hair goes in every direction. So the struggle is real.

So, I’ve been going through a storm lately, and even though most of it has blown over and the waters have calmed, there is still a lot of conflict in my head. I think the problem is that I’ve allowed the storm to change my perspective of God: I haven’t clung onto Him as I should have done, but rather spent a lot of time questioning and being exasperated. What it’s left me with is a totally distorted perspective of who He is.

I don’t like it, at all.

I can’t stay this way, God has more in store for me than I am currently able to accept, and I gotta change my idea somehow. Anybody up for giving me a hand?

My husband got me a kindle two years ago. I never use it for reading. I still buy tons of books. The only thing I use the kindle for is sometimes checking my email or as a remote for the Roku. Now he’s getting me a cell phone because he thinks I need it... We both know how this is going to go.

Just got done watching this movie on netflix. It was strange, funny, and just plain awesome. Kinda wish I had watched this around my 15th birthday. It’s kinda got a weird magic feel, a bit like Alice in Wonderland and it’s got imagination.

Just got done watching season 1 of The Seven Deadly Sins. It was awesome! I seriously don’t know why I waited so long to watch this anime. I’m slightly kicking myself...

I finally have a kitty! I have been wanting one for about 5 years...that’s a long time. I tried adopting one a few months ago from a classmate and ended up giving it back. The cat was kinda mean, mainly to my husband and my baby.

Then I got Maple here from a friend of a friend. She fits in perfectly! I finally have my cuddly kitty friend. She’s super nice in temperament too. I believe she’s called a domestic long-haired tabby. She’s not a purebred, I’m fine with that. Hopefully that means she will live a long life with no health problems.

I’m so in love!!
