i had a theory when tpot 21 came out that horrifying sludge is what powers recovery centers

seeing as the first time we see horrifying sludge is when she comes out of a recovery center and is then shoved back in, it seemed totally plausible that she just lived in recovery centers. and since the strange black goo in tpot 21 is able to recover people, i thought they were going to reveal that horrifying sludge is what powered recovery centers

when i was watching bfdia 24 and they brought back horrifying sludge for no reason and had a side plot of tennis ball going into the recovery center to find out how it worked, i totally thought my theory was going to be proven correct

alas, no. i dont even know what the point of the recovery center side plot or horrifying sludge was in bfdia 24 ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯
