Suddenly I realized that the "lovers with an age difference" trope is probably relevant between them, since according to canon, Nora was still a very young girl when she became the headmaster of Monster High, while Hexiciah in "Monster Mutations" in 1814 is shown as a mature, respectable man.

I don't honestly think there's that much of an age difference between them tbh - Nora is stated to be "young" when she started MH but we know for a fact she's out of college at that point and it sounds like she was a librarian - which you have to go to school for and takes a bit. Additionally they're both like immortal and at LEAST hundreds of years old so the way they count aging is probably different lol. But they were definitely both adults who had already established careers when they met.
