NEW EXTENSION: EDITABLE REBLOGS

Tumblr made a stupid update, I made an extension to fix it. We’ll need to update a core XKit function before it works for HTML and Markdown users, but it’s a start. The extension should be available momentarily.

   He throws his hands up in the air, ears and tail perking. “Yes!”

   Looking down to what he was wearing once hearing the other’s suggestion, he slowly nodded. A fresh pair of clothing would feel better against his skin anyhow. “Okay. I won’t be long.”

Roy smiled. “I’ll be here,” he replied, getting some butter ready to toss into the pan when it grew hot enough.

   There was a little smile on his face as he spun around on his heels, making his way over to his room. He doubted that Roy was just going to up and be gone when he got back, so he felt rather.. Safe, with that thought.    Like he said, he wasn’t very long. Diego was quick to strip down and put on his regular uniform.

   That’s all I can do tonight. I have work in the morning, I’ll try to be on more often))

Roy went to the kitchen and pulled out milk and eggs from the fridge, soon noticing the Pyro was still in his clothes. 

“Why don’t’cha change while I get the pan hot?” he suggested, not wanting anyone to see the Pyro in his clothes. The mercs probably couldn’t tell if the sweatpants were Roy’s or not, but still, he didn’t want to risk it.

Spy let out a small moan, biting his lip so hard it nearly bled as he leaned against a wall, clutching his bleeding shoulder and trying not to think about the other injuries he was suffering. He squeezed his eyes shut against the pain.

Whimpering very quietly, his bent his knees and allowed them to slide down slowly from under him so he could plop on the floor, hissing again when his whole body felt like it was on fire. He hit his head a few times on the wall behind him as he clenched his teeth, hands pressing on his stomach a little harder in an attempt to stop the bleeding.

“We-” he choked “We have Respawn I’ll- ngh- be fine.”

   The Pyro tensed up when he heard the Spy. This was not a side that the Pyromaniac was used to seeing.. No, this was far from the man whom always seemed to evade getting hurt. But the attitude... Some things never change.    “How long can you last?” The Pyro was persistent, crouching down so that he was level once more with the suited man. There was a moment when he tried to think of just how he could help the other, recalling when the Engineer had taken a piece of fabric and wrapped it around the Pyro’s own wound to help him out a bit. He thought about, (And may have tried) ripping a piece of his flame retardent suit, though the thick rubber-like material wasn’t something you could just rip... Nor would it be of any help. “I can grab a medic-”

     “Only fer ya. Ain’t no one else I’mma do it fer.” Declan’s response came out with an airy laugh as he flopped himself onto his back beside Diego. He lapsed into silence, staring up into the clouds. Ya watchin’ me? I wonder. He reached a hand up toward the sky, as if he could grab it. In fact, he did close his hand, turn it over to look at it and open it. Nothing. Of course. The sky was a long way up, wasn’t it? And he was so small and insignificant down where he was. 

     He slowly put his hand down, landing it over his forehead. He remained in that silence for a moment longer, before he spoke again, his tone more serious this time. “Ya ever wonder what it’d be like? Ta fly? Be up dere? Ya think ya’d find heaven if ya flew up high enough? Like it’s some kinda secret dat da clouds ‘r hidin’? I wanna find out one day, maybe. Dunno if I’ll be able ta get up dere by da regular means, y’know? Not like we can go n’ die anyways at the mo’. Not dat I want to.” 

     There’s another pause, and then a soft smile curves on his lips. “Dere’s just… Someone I wanna see again, ya know? Prolly more than one, but. Y’know. If someone was taken from ya, ya kinda wanna see ‘em again. Permanently or not.” He seems to stop himself and he shakes his head. “I got too deep, didn’ I? Feel free ta ignore me, ‘m prolly bein’ really dumb, ain’t I?” Laughter, albeit slightly forced from the sound of it.

   Geez, was this guy doing this on purpose? It seemed that every word that left Declan’s mouth sent Diego’s heart skipping a beat, making him feel a lot of emotions that he didn’t know he was able to feel. Somehow... He felt as though he was safe, and wanted by this man... Someone whom was on the other team, for heaven’s sake. Not only that, but he was a class that wasn’t considered to be... Well.. This. He broke almost every stereotype... And somehow, Diego was attracted to that aspect. Declan was different. Not just by Scout standards, but... He was a lot different than anyone Diego could remember meeting.    As he stared curiously at the man, he gave him a warm smile. Slowly, he lay next to him, wondering what exactly was on the other’s mind. It didn’t take that long to find out. “I.. I’ve never thought about that.” He began, brown eyes staring up into the sky thoughtfully. “Soldier seems like the closest guy who could tell you what it’s like to be in the sky.” Of course... What Declan was getting at... Seemed to pass by Diego at first. With a little laugh, he gently elbowed the man next to him. “You better not go dying on me just to see.” Not when he’s finally found a companion he could be around...    “Yeah?” His eyes moved so he could try and get a look at the Scout without moving his head, straining his eyes in the process. He opened his mouth to ask who, but no words were able to come out. Instead, he reached over, gently grabbing Declan’s hand. “I think everyone’s got someone they want to see again.” Well, everyone... Except Diego.

   Hey guys, sorry about the long absence! A lot has been going on, and I had just recently turned 18 so I’ve been spending time with family and friends.. I think I’m slowly gonna get back into the swing of things on this blog))

“Sure thing, darlin’,” he replied, kissing the Pyro’s nose before pulling back. Roy got dressed in his uniform of red shirt and overalls and left his room, heading over to the kitchen.

   There was a big smile that formed on Diego’s face as he followed close behind Roy. Even if maybe Darlin was a southern thing, or Roy said it on purpose, it made the Pyro happy to hear. He didn’t quite want to change out of Roy’s clothes, so he figured he’d get into a fresh suit when he got back to his room. He really didn’t have a spare change of clothes on him, after all.

   There is a loud groan from the Pyro as he rests his forehead in his hands. He’s not exactly a drinker, usually hating the bitter taste that alcohol left in his mouth. Why did he drink? He wasn’t sure. Maybe he just wanted to fit in, or maybe it was because someone offered him a crazy straw to drink from which made it fun. But right now..? His head was killing him.

“Good, good.” She gave a small grin and stood up, handing him the metal cup of jasmine tea. The Spy paused thoughtfully for a moment before turning her back to the Pyro. She wasn’t sure if he was comfortable with taking off his gas mask in front of people, but from her previous experience with other Pyros, she was doing it anyway as a precaution.

   While at first he didn’t understand why she was turning around, he simply shrugged it off. He’d probably thank her later when he figured it out, but for now, he was far more focused on the tea. “Thank you.” He said, lifting his mask up just enough so he could take a couple sips from the cup.
