  "Really? Well, since Saint Valentin is right around the corner—would you like to help me with setting up a party?"

    "Why, I'd love to sir! I'd be happy to assist you in anyway possible~"

  "Now that’s the spirit. Now—do you have any plans for your day today? I know that I might grow to be busy throughout this week!"

    She thought for a few moments before shaking her head. "No, I don't believe so."

  "Oh, yes, desole, bit scatterbrained today…" He laughed slightly, "But yes, it’s a pleasure to see him again."

   She nodded a bit. "Yes! It has been such a long time since I saw him, it is refreshing to have him back."

  He quirked a brow, a grin settling on his face. “Hmm, well, considering the fact that I usually take admins with me on regional trips…you might just have to ask Lysandre himself. You’re still a grunt, after all!”

    "Hmph, you're such a tease, sir!" She faked a pout, folding her arms over her chest. "I suppose I can manage that if it means I have a chance to go to another region."

  "I believe so, as well. And Sinnoh was very pleasing, to say the least! The mythology it had to offer was outstanding!" He put a hand over his heart, sighing as he recalled a few pleasant events back in that region. "The cities and towns were also great—I might plan to go there again in the near future."

   "That sounds outstanding!" She hummed softly, tapping a finger on her chin for a few moments. "Mmm. Sir, next time you go, would you mind taking a certain blonde along? I would be honored to go to another region, after all! Especially if it is with monsieur~"

  "He?" He tilted his head in curiosity, "Who is ‘he’?"

  "Why, monsieur Sycamore~"

  He nodded, smiling warmly at the other, “Indeed I am! How have you been?”

   "That is wonderful~" She gave a hun, accompanied by a half-smile. "I am fine as well, especially since he has returned!" The girl practically gave a happy sound, however she stopped herself.

  "You mean to tell me that—they haven’t promoted you yet? I’m surprised! I thought you’d be an admin by the time I came back!" He huffed, crossing his arms over his chest. "That Lysandre—you weren’t chosen as a special recruit just to stay as a grunt!"

   "Oh my, monsieur! If you praise me like that, I may just blush." She teased with a small chuckle. "Mmm, I'm sure it will change in due time, sir. On another note, how was Sinnoh?"

   "Monsieur Lysandre, I suspect you are well?"

  "Now you’re just being too modest, darling!" He chuckled lightly, picking up a strand of her golden hair and letting it slip through his fingers. "But that’s nice to hear. I do hope that everyone has been behaving themselves—since I’ve been gone and all."

   "Non, non~ In fact I'm holding back my admiration for you!" She replied with a sly grin, hidden behind her hand. "Hmm. I would say so, yes, however I am tired of being looked down upon as a 'grunt'." The woman shrugged her shoulders. "Though, with you back, I can't exactly complain."

  "Indeed it has, mon cher.  I’ve been in the Sinnoh region for quite some time. Tell me—how have you been?"

   "I have been..alright, I suppose. It has been rather boring without you around, I have to say."

     ”You say it like it’s a bad thing.” Koru said with a chuckle.    ”I came here…” Pause for dramatic effect.    ”..in search of blood!”

   "Oh yes, very dramatic."

    Rolls her eyes.     "You won't be finding anyone around here willing to give you any bloog."

  "Flare property? Is Flare a business?" Melanie asked, looking up briefly at Serena before returning her gaze to the ground. She crossed her arms over her chest as she shifted feet, feeling like something was going on. Whatever Flare meant, it probably wasn’t good. And she knew trespassing wasn’t.

   "You could say that, I suppose."

    "We're the ones trying to create a perfect world. Of course, I wouldn't expect an outside like yourself to understand." Serena watched the other carefully, amused at her nervousness.

     ”Security is overrated aaanyway.” Said the bat with an all too friendly smile.

    "Says the intruder." She mused. "What are you doing here."

12 Intruders

  A hand went to the back of Neva’s neck out of a bit of nervousness. The strawberry blonde seemed to be intimidated by the other, at least a little bit. But that seemed to fade away when she saw the Delphox. Her eyes seemed to sparkle as she ran over, hands clasped together.

“Ah, I’ve never gotten to see a Delphox so close up before!” She started to list off a few random facts rapid fire, as she had always done.

    The first reaction was expected, really-- the nervousness someone showed when encountering another, the ever present chance of the encounter going sour.

   However.. She was not expecting this. For a few moments, she simply watched the other practically jump around excitedly, talking at such a rapid pace. Said Delphox stared at the other a bit curiously, as if trying to figure out what she was on about. Instead of interrupting, Serena simply allowed her to keep talking.
