The idea of english as a mother tongue is so strange to me, in my head english is how ppl communicate when there's no way in common to communicate, so english as a mother tongue sounds a bit like idk email as a mother tongue ykwim? Like english to me feels like the stuff that's used to fill the empty spaces between languages

The first painting shows Zuko and Azula’s final Agni Kai from above. Their blue and red fires are clashing in the center of the image, and light is exploding out from them.

The second painting shows the hill in Ba Sing Se where Iroh celebrates Lu Ten’s birthday. The sun is setting, and the sky is yellow and orange. The expanse of the city and the monorail track is visible, and the tree is a dark outline in front of it all.

The third painting is of Zuko doing the Dancing Dragon from with the red dragon. He has his broadswords on his back and is jabbing outwards with his palm up. His other hand is down under his outstretched arm. The sky behind him is orange and has puffy clouds floating in it.

The fourth painting is of Aang also doing the Dancing Dragon form with the blue dragon. He is punching out with both hands, and his arms are parallel to the ground. The background is the same as in Zuko’s painting.

The fifth painting shows the Kyoshi warriors guarding Appa. They are all down in low stances with their shields up covering their bodies and their fans up behind them. Suki is at the front. Appa is snarling.

The sixth painting shows the Spirit Oasis in the Northern Water Tribe. A small green island with a shrine in it sits in a dark blue pool. Walls of ice rise up around it, and a waterfall falls down onto the hill and splashes into the water.

The seventh painting shows the Southern Air temple from a distance. It is a series of blue and white towers on the side of a mountain. Winding paths lead up it and to the different towers. It is surrounded by clouds, and other mountains are rising in the distance.

The final painting shows Aang’s path to spiritual enlightenment. It is a dark purple path leading into the distance and surrounded by stars and pink and red galaxy swirls. One dark hand with a purple arrow tattoo on the arm is visible in the corner. End image description.]
